Really it's the same recipe success for male wrestlers. That "Superstar look" is code for: "Gay guys and straight women will, more likely than not, want to have sexual relations with him." But if that's all they have, you get some gym rat who becomes a joke because he doesn't know the difference between a wristlock and a wristwatch. Except that nowadays most of the guys with the "superstar look" are either jobbing or non entities. And the guys who have/had "the Superstar look" who are actually getting pushed have actually downgraded in the looks department. Because the majority of guys with the superstar look are pitifully green in the ring, or despite their experience, are still rather poor. Orton and Cena are two guys with that look are, lo and behold, two of the biggest stars in the company. The thing that sets them apart from Mason Ryan or Ryback or whomever else is the ability to tell a complicated story in the ring (if they want to or need to). Except that nowadays most of the guys with the "superstar look" are either jobbing or non entities. And the guys who have/had "the Superstar look" who are actually getting pushed have actually downgraded in the looks department. it's like that NOW but that's only after like 2003-2009 when they wasted time trying to turn said gym rats into superstars at the expense of people the crowd actually may have wanted to see, which is why there's so few legitimate stars now. Exactly! Most of the guys who had the look they wanted didn't have the requisite wrestling ability, and that's why it didn't work. Otherwise, it likely would have. Or at least, it wouldn't have failed so badly.

She's hot?
I mean she's nice looking, but hottest ever? Hell no, she's pretty much a run of the mill "rich bitchy girl", you see 30 of her on every college campus. Also she's miserable in the ring and to say she has charisma is an utter lie.
In other words I agree get the waste of tv time off air.

I think Kelly was pretty underrated. She played a good underdog, managed to be super sympathetic and get people to care about her. Her botching became this weird running joke when it didn't happen that often while someone like Natalya who screws up all the damn time gets a pass. It's odd.

Eva Marie is garbage. I don't think she's going to last. Same with JoJo...just garbage. I seen that match from Monday and both were so awful in it. The only redeeming thing about the match was the crowd booing the Total Divas and cheering AJ. I'm glad the crowds are seeing though this nonsense and giving girls like Eva Marie the reactions they deserve.
Eva Marie is a deer in headlights out there. So wooden and devoid of any personality at all. At least the Diva Search girls had varying degrees of talent to them. Michelle McCool, Maryse, Maria, Layla and even friggin Christy Hemme had more talent than Eva or JoJo. They could all at least wrestle a little when they first came in...not great but each showed more talent than these two.
Just awful stuff all around with this show and the new girls they're pushing. WWE needs to recruit actual talented female wrestlers instead of this garbage.

Imagine how boring Total Divas would've been if they had it when Eve was in WWE. God what a boring woman. Gotta disagree, her relationship with the Gracie family alone would have been interesting to watch. I genuinely believe Eva will only be with the WWE as long as Total Divas is a thing she's on. Once that ends, so does her presence in wrestling. She adds nothing to the product or to the company and I can't see WWE thinking she's worth the time investment when they have at least three lovely ladies down in NXT who can wrestle and have gotten over by themselves. Though don't take this as a "hurr durr muh indie girls" deal because Summer Rae is my favourite Diva going at the moment.

She took a kendo stick to the face her first year there. She got my utmost respect for that, if nothing else.

Eva won't last. She's already 29. It just amazes me that they pick this shithead over some of the genuine talent they have at NXT.

Thread reaches 5 pages, largely of FAN members trashing Eva Maria = successful heel.
Live crowd boos Eva Maria outta the building whenever she gets a hot tag = successful heel.
Eva plays a bad girl who takes shortcuts towards getting famous in the WWE by lying about her dancing qualifications or flirting with Tyson Kidd/John Cena = succubus jezebelsuccessful heel (/J.R.)
So don't hate. No, seriously. You're just helping her!
