Stop playing these stupid games and sign Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards already.
Drop this we don't want to sign anymore Indy talents mentality.

1. Either stop calling every Joey Jobber in the lockerroom a superstar or make me believe that they really are one. No more squash matches. 2. If you want to make your own sports entertainment "universe" actually make something out of it. When a wrestler debuts, don't treat him or her like a random newcomer, introduce them with a storyline, give them a background, make me care. Since you don't acknowledge championship wins outside of WWE anyway, make some up. Convince me these guys deserve to be there. 3. Write consistent storylines that actually make sense. Why is Orton the corporate champion when Cena is the guy who makes you the most money? How come wrestlers can kidnap eachother without anyone calling the police? On that note, how does Brie just not care about her boyfriend disappearing? I mean for f***'s sake a little kid would notice these things.

The Cena-canrana, followed by the Cena-star press. Cena has actually already busted out a Cena-canrana a few times.

HHH's weekly appearances are a segment where he re-enacts famous historical photos.
Week 1: HHH re-enacts the famous photo of Thich Quang Duc.
*wiki that, son*
.....needless to say, there is no Week 2.

Stop putting out "we are highly trained professional athletes who have spent years honing our skills" PSA's to encourage kids to not wrestle at home or school when they've got people like Eva Marie on the roster.

Some of these echo earlier responses or were inspired by them:
I remember WCW used to interrupt matches with commercials. I found it annoying as hell. I'm sad to see WWE going that way.
I actually find situations where Champions lose cleanly in non-title matches to be annoying. It's one thing for a dq loss but really it's boring to see, "this guy beat the champion! They did it again! Time for an actual title match...they lost." It does nothing for me and has been played out. Also, I get flashbacks to Rey's world title run where he was squashed for weeks on end by monsters but was still world champion. That just made so little sense (and kinda made JBL look pathetic when he then lost to Rey, undermining the build up they'd done with him plus it seriously undermined the title).
I was never a big fan of blatantly heel announcers. I would like to see some more play by play. It doesn't all have to be that but it would be good.
I'd like to see the divas division emphasize wrestling skill and for those who deserve it to get adequate time to put on matches, rather than just being relegated to five minute filler.
HHH used to be really entertaining. In his current incarnation he just kind of seems like a boring smug douche. Move past him and boring old Orton.
One more world title reign for Jericho as a face. Even a short one.
Occasionally ending with a main event match that doesn't involve a ton of run ins. A match with an actual ending.
I'd like to see the IC title given more prominence again. Perhaps have the hot new stars you want to burst on to the scene to be in the IC title picture instead of just jumping straight to World title (some have the talent to jump, some need the seasoning. A slow burn would be nice though in many cases).
I would like to see the knockout punch to actually look like a punch that could knock out someone instead of a limp fist push.
More cowbell.

For me it just comes down to telling stories. Basic stories, where each character has a unique personality that remains at least somewhat consistent week by week, instead of what they do now where everyone is what WWE conveniently needs to be. Like when a diva shifts alignment every week, or when Dolph Ziggler looks like a main eventer one week, then is on job duty the next. I hate the WWE presentation that tells us that there are about a handful of guys that are larger than life, best wrestlers ever, then everyone else is just scraping by.

Coherent stories, likable protagonists.
A sense that there is some consequence in the actions of these wrestlers. Like make cheating a big deal by actually punishing the cheater on screen, so when it happens it means something more than a lame crutch. Keep feuds simple, and try to avoid any ones that rely on overly long dialogue. Keep the action moving, and just deliver a product that doesn't seem to want to be something it never will.

Good booking. I want to feel like matches at PPVs really matter, that there are consequences to winning and losing. No more halfhearted parity booking, no more wasting time on pithy bullshit like we have seen with Ryback and Daniel Bryan. They need to choose guys to push and they need to follow through and genuinely push them.

Make things seem like they matter. Titles, wins, finishers (Perfect-Plex I'm looking at you!), interruptions, matches being made.
Seriously, what general manager comes to the show without a main event booked? Or who sees four guys in the ring and suddenly decides to make a tag team match? It'd be cool if it were a once in a while thing, but every week?
Every show seems to open with an authority figure (love those) coming out to boos, playing to the crowd, and then confronting a baby face. They go back and forth before the heel authority places the face into a match with stacked odds. Then they cut to commercial, and then for the rest of the hour until the top of the next, nothing interesting happens.
And that's another thing. Stop booking for ratings. It's one of the things that killed WCW. They tossed out things to get good quarter hours, but gave no foresight to future ramifications. Why have Big E come out and win the title on the go-home show before a PPV? Why not have the title change on PPV to make it matter more? I get that nobody cares about secondary titles, but how about instead of just accepting it and moving on, why not question why people don't give two f***s if the US Title is on the line? Champions lose every week and win the next so they can be on even standing with… the rest of the endless mid card?
I used to be so positive about WWE because at the end of the day there was a great Cena match or Edge match, or we had Shawn Michaels having a terrific promo or performance in-ring that'd make the rest of the show better for being before or after such things. But now? WWE App. Then El Torito getting into more mischief with Heath. Then Divas (and my opinions on the entire division- yes that means Kaitlyn and her spears too- have been widely stated) come out and botch through 3 minutes of TV to an audience who is checking the score of the Laker game on their iPhone. Then it'll be close to 10/7P and CM Punk will come out. He'll be great, but as soon as his segment is over and a commercial is over, we cut to HHH or Brad Maddox or something backstage. Do the Authority like Orton this week or will they vaguely state he isn't cutting it, leading to interference helping him out in a big match? Then they cut to Santino and Khali… doing stuff. By this point we're getting close to the top of the last hour, so they'll toss in a good match. Afterwards we'll get Kofi coming out. Which can only mean either Del Rio, Miz or Axel will be out next. Formulaic match and finally the main event segment comes on. Shit happens and the show is over, you could miss this entire segment nowadays and not feel like you missed anything, because again, nothing matters. The PPV will come and go. Announcers will make jokes amongst themselves whilst the stuff being pushed as important sucks, and the stuff that's great is shuffled under the rug to give more time to Nikki Bella or something. What's the point? Where's the focus?
There's no more Edge or Shawn or Jericho to count on having fun segments each week. We'll get a Shield 6-man. We'll occasionally get Bryan let loose to kick ass. But after this, you'd better really like what comes next on each week of the show or else you'll be giving yourself false hope that things will change.

They're trying to appeal to everyone age 4-40. The older fans dont like the kid stuff, the younger kids dont get the stuff geared more towards adults. Pick a shorter demographic and work to getting them instead of "kinda" appealing to everyone.
The product is just spinning its wheels most of the time. They have a formula to the majority of their major fueds, and since most PPVs have a gimmick of sorts you know in advance how one is going to play into another.
Theres too many useless title changes and title reigns. I remember it seemed like a big deal when Bret Hart tied Hulk Hogan with 5 world title wins, seemed like such a huge number of world title wins. The amount of 5+ time combined champions seems ludicrous. Keep in mind in 1997 people were complaining about hot shotting titles around and how title changes mean nothing. I mean think about it. If John Cena loses a world title who cares? If he loses who cares? What difference does it make to the show, the PPV or anything? I don't know how the WWE remedies this. Having unover losers like ALberto Del Rio as one of their dominant world champions of the past 5 years is a killer. Thye hot shotting of titles is a killer. After we tell fans for so long that the titles mean nothing how do you convince them they all of a sudden do?

Pick a shorter demographic and work to getting them instead of "kinda" appealing to everyone. But that's ideally what wrestling should be. There is a large roster of different types of guys with different gimmicks, and some of them should be catered to one demo, and some of them should be catered to others.

Around 95 or so I was either a freshman or sophomore in high school, the big reason it was tough watching wrestling was everybody saying "its kids stuff" or "I used to watch it when I was a kid" several years later I'm in college watching a more adult oriented product and theres Nitro and RAW in half the guys dorm rooms in the school and the biggest boom period in wrestling. People over a certain age are going to tune away from something they deem "for kids" for the most part.

For me, I just want better wrestling, coherent storylines, and interesting feuds that actually provide some excitement to the product. I'll never understand why they take the start and stop push approach, watering down the matches, movesets, and promos. I've always believed that despite having no legitimate competition, the desire to make money, and satisfy the consumers on all sides of the spectrum should be motivating enough to provide a great product.
Another aspect that bothers me is the lack of selling. I watched Raw A.M. last night and saw how Orton and Cena were quickly recovering from chair, table, and ladder shots. Seeing them lay on the mat knocked out with their eyes open just cheapens the moment and the assault.
The brutality of certain attacks and the lack of selling those particular offenses just feels they're trying to cater too much to cinema.

I want good, well written angles and good wrestlers to make them work.
I want guys like Chris Hero and Colt Cabana to be able to get fair shots. Just because they're not chemically enhanced doesn't mean they're somehow inferior to guys who (I think) are insanely boring like Ryback and Big E Langston.
I want Triple H and the McMahon family to take a permanent step back. Enough already.
I want WWE to respect all of their fans.
Also, it'd be neat if the WWE just respected wrestling as a whole. No more bullshit WWE revisionist history, please. 'Sports entertainment' is also something that needs to be in a cold, dark grave.

I was thinking of a WWE vs. IWC feud.
WWE Loyalists: HHH, Cena, Orton, Sheamus, Ryback, Big Show, Del Rio, Axel, Miz, Swagger, Tons of Funk, Bellas, Funkadactyls, etc.
IWC Rebels: Heyman, Punk, Bryan, Lesnar, Shield, Ziggler, Kane, Cesaro, Sandow, RVD, Ryder, Gabriel, Kidd, AJ, Natalya, etc.

Dean Malenko vs Daniel Bryan for all of the titles at once, consisting of 9 hours of chain wrestling and reversing submission/pin attempts every second, a 45 minute octopus hold, followed by a tiger suplex '85, Daniel Bryan suddenly grabbing the mic and saying, "I'm Bryan Danielson, I've got all the way to 5! BELLA TWINS! HIT THE BRICKS, I'M MARRIED TO WRESTLING!" and Malenko summoning the spirits of Guerrerro and Benoit to win, and calling out Vince McMahon, Triple H, and Stephanie, who all come out and apologize to him, all smaller wrestlers, and the fans for not pushing technical wrestling as their primary attraction.

Develop a realistic, down-to-earth show... that's completely off-the-wall and swarming with magic robots. I don't think that's too much to ask All I want is pants. A decent pair of pants. Solomon Grundy want pants too!
