I know I'm about 48 hours late to the game, but I cannot believe there are people who honestly think Mike Tomlin made simply an innocent mistake. He knew precisely where he was in relation to the field and Jacoby Jones. Coaches, players, trainers and just about anyone else who stands on the sideline is repeatedly told time and time again to stay behind the white line of the sideline, and not only does Tomlin not do that, he stands a foot out onto the field.
He's not stupid, he knew exactly what he was doing, and he should receive a pretty hefty fine for it. Fortunately, the Ravens won the game, so justice was served, because it would have been quite a black eye for Thursday's game if a touchdown was taken off the board and Baltimore ended up losing.

The Miami Dolphins have placed Jonathan Martin, who has been away from the team for several weeks in the midst of a bullying scandal involving teammate Richie Incognito, on the non-football injury list.
By placing Martin on the non-football injury list, the second-year offensive lineman is ineligible to play again this season and no longer counts toward the Dolphins' 53-man roster.

Broncos LE Derek Wolfe (illness) has been ruled out for Week 13. Apparently he has "seizure like symptoms" on the team bus and had to go to the hospital from the airport via ambulance.

Injury after injury ontop of injury, he might look good in spurts but he's going to be oft injured. Some people just break easily.

I heard that Fox is switching Philly-Arizona to its 1pm national game. Does anybody know if that's true? I'd really like to see my Eagles rather than a shitty Vikings-Bears game.

The Patriots play the Texans in Reliant Stadium this afternoon, which hosted a Southern Methodist vs. Houston game on Friday afternoon. According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the field is a complete mess, an amalgamation of painted dirt and patches of turf just kind of pieced into place. I'm afraid somebody's going to really hurt themselves today because of the atrocious field conditions. It was, after all, only four years ago when Wes Welker tore up his knee trying to make a cut on Houston's patchwork grass.
Also, Stevan Ridley is inactive for the Patriots today. On the plus side, he doesn't have to try to run on that embarrassment they call a field, but on the negative side, this is only going to allow doubt to creep further into his head about his fumble issues. The worst thing to do to Ridley is to set him adrift as an inactive. He needs to be given carries, that's the only way to treat his problem.

28-20 Bears
"@peggykusinski: #Vikings inactives: TE Kyle Rudolph (John Carlson starts in his place); CB Robinson (Rhodes starts in his place); and Audie Cole starts MLB"
"@peggykusinski: #Bears inactives: Cutler, @lancebriggs, @lilmade21, @anthony_Walters, James Brown, Jon Scott & Cornelius Washington"
That means Jeremiah/Jay Ratliff will play for the first time as a Bear, & for the first time in general in over a year. Stephen Paea is active as well. Good to get some healthy bodies on a Bears d-line that has been devastated by injuries this year. Especially with AD on the docket today.

Fine is justified, especially since Tomlin hasn't even apologized. But unless it's like a 5th or 6th round pick, I think punishing the organization with taking away a draft pick is a bit much.
