I know we've all talked and talked about the chances of Hulk Hogan being at Mania and just what he'd be doing. I personally want Hogan there and even if it is a tag team match I want him to wrestle.
This is because I grew up in the 80s thinking The Hulkster was the greatest thing ever and I just want him to get a fitting swan song and I think WrestleMania 30 would be the place. Had Ric Flair not came out of retirement in TNA and somewhat put a cloud over it, he had the greatest send off ever at WrestleMania and I want Hogan to have something like that. I think WrestleMania 30 would be the best place for it.

Hulk Hogan can barely move. If he MUST appear at Wrestlemania XXX, he should merely be in someone's corner, and maybe get a punch in there somewhere.

If no Cena/Taker I want Cena and Hogan vs Real Americans.

I agree that Hogan should get a sendoff at Wrestlemania.
Just not wrestling. Give him a tribute at Mania and a retirement celebration the next night on RAW.
We are talking about a man with all types of rods, steel, and electronics inside of his body. This isn't something that can be shrugged off. This is a human being with very serious medical problems. I still think people get Hulk Hogan and Terry Bollea mixed up. He is not Superman. He isn't the Hulkster. He is a 60 year old man that has very serious knee, back and hip problems.
Unless he is just throwing punches, there is no way this man should have a match.

The problem with giving Hogan a sendoff is that within a few months, he'll be back in the ring somewhere when he finds some poor mug willing to pay him enough money.
It's not like Edge, who honestly won't be back, or HBK. Hogan and Flair will keep going until they drop dead. All "last hurrahs" are wasted on them.

I don't think the WWE trusts Hogan to stay retired. If TNA is still around in a year or two and throws up the right number...Hogan will be back, taking bumps against Sting's team in Lethal Lockdown. Brother.

Exactly, in TNA it was all he could do to hobble up the ring steps; for his own health's sake, I never want to see him attempt any sort of bump or anything else ever, ever again.

I'd like to see the Rhodes family feuding with the Real Americans for the tag team titles. After the match, Swagger and Cesaro put a beat down on the Rhodes and Zeb cuts a promo on America and the idea of what "real Americans" really are. Naturally, Dusty comes down (with his American Dream music) to try and make the save and gets a decent pop but it's still too much for him. Then Hogan's theme hits and the place goes nuts as he comes down to clear the ring. Posedown time, Dusty and Hogan as the American legends, some heat for Swagger/Cesaro/Zeb and a good wrestling match in the process.

No. I'm tired of WWE being so desperate for a ratings boost that they push the panic button and bring back past stars instead of letting their current talents get a chance to get over.

I thought the answer to the thread's title was gonna be "because I like to watch old people endure physical pain".

Guest ref the title unification match, then the next night on Raw give him the retired WHC as a symbolic gesture and let Hogan go off into the sunset.
Then stick him somewhere like NXT where his experience can come in handy and Trips can keep him out of the public eye until he's needed.

Remember Bret vs. Vince? Hogan vs. anybody would be worse.

If no Cena/Taker I want Cena and Hogan vs Real Americans. I think this would be great. It would give Cena something high profile to do without putting him in the title picture, and he could do most of the work during the match. If Hogan is too worn down to do that, then have him "manage" one of the face tag teams against The Real Americans. Maybe The Prime Time Players?

Hogan one step away from wheelchair kinda doesn't scream Wrestlemania 30 match. Maybe it's just me...

I'd like to think the WWE's learned their lesson with what happened to Jerry Lawler, and will think twice before deciding to have a 60 year old man wrestle in the ring.

I don't want Hogan to wrestle because I don't want to see him die in the ring.

I keep imagining that Hogan trying to wrestle in one more match is going to end up with him getting split in half like the bad guy from Day of the Dead.
anyone who wants Hogan to wrestle at all at this point is just being selfish. it's exactly the kind of thing Mick Foley was talking about in his Cane Dewey promos.

Only way I see Hogan wrestling at WM is if buyrates and TV ratings -TANK- between now and Wrestlemania and if Hogan is in a strong bargaining position, it will come with all sorts of caveats the audience will regret like Hogan going over the likes of Bray Wyatt and Brooke being on TV.

Wrestlemania XXX Main Event: Hulk Hogan, CM Punk, & Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H, Randy Orton, & Kane
Six big names in one match, everyone in the Authority angle tied up in one match to leave room on the card for plenty of other guys, Hogan gets to work with veterans who can handle his limitations, and Punk/Bryan get to be in a Wrestlemania main event (as does Kane, which is a nice cap to all the crazy crap he's put up with over the years).

I met him at an autograph signing a few years back, and having to watch two people help the Hulkster walk up a flight of stairs punched me right in the childhood.
The best Wrestlemania send-off Hogan could have was already done when he saved Eugene. Have him come out, throw a few punches, and pose in the ring. That's really all that needs to be done. Also, anyone who says they don't want to see Heath Slater sell a Hogan punch needs to examine their soul.
