There's not much more you can do considering one guy did try to kill the other with pyro. How do you even top that?
Unless these two fools start throwing exploding cars and spiked turtle shells at each other, ain't shit they're going to do in these matches we haven't seen before.

I'm excited about the prospect of finally having ONE world champion. Plus I'm hoping that whoever unifies the belts transitions the unified title to Bryan.

They're the only constant main event stars the company has built this century that are still with the company full time, with Batista and Lesnar being the other two. If you're going to do a unification match, then you pretty much have to have them in it.
I've seen the match before, though, and remember that the hype each and every time (THIS IS THE FUTURE!) was the same. I didn't care then, so the likelihood that I will now just decreases.

I have no interest in seeing Orton and Cena yet again, however I am very interested in the title vs title concept itself.

Just got to thinking about this after my last post. We've had scrwy ending after screwy ending with one of the common complaints being "can we get a match with an actual winner?"
The ladder match and the whole "Both titles will be hanging from the ring, but we want only one winner" bit means they can do the old "Well, we gave them a match with a finish, what the hell else could they possible want?" thing.
If it's a regular match, or hardcore match, or anything that isn't a ladder or escape cage match, the only way to have the ending they're telegraphing is the old "both guys' shoulders were down". That takes too much effort to book, I guess.
So, that means we get either title swap or both guys keep the titles they have this month, then we get a rinse and repeat either at the Rumble or at Mania with the Rumble winner as the third participant.

I'd rather have it between Cena/Bryan or Cena/Punk and it really ought to have been held off until Wrestlemania, but the WHC desperately needs to go ASAP. So yeah, somewhat.

This feud is yawn, yawn, yawn, yawn, and double yawn.
I seriously cannot believe this is the best the WWE can do.

Honestly, I've been apathetic for the last couple of months for the World Title scene. I've never really been too big of an Orton fan, and Cena I can give or take depending on who he's feuding with. And considering that this isn't really a fresh feud (yeah, they haven't done anything since '09, but even then they've basically done every type of match) increase by boredom. Also, we've had screwy finishes in the title match ever since Summerslam, so what are the odds that we'll actually have a clean finish at TLC? I'll pass for now.

No
I can't even get interested in the prospect of getting rid of the WHC, because it's likely they won't do that, at least for a few more months.

No I can't even get interested in the prospect of getting rid of the WHC, because it's likely they won't do that, at least for a few more months. Paradox. The title that was brought back specifically for Triple H will have to job in this match, if the goal is for there to be one title. That means that the endgame of the match will be The World Heavyweight Title will somehow make a comeback and be seen as more important that anyone who feuds for the WWE title, and be given 20 minute segments that are just the title belt in the ring, with strobelights. Damn it, now I have to write a new character, but at least Sledgie has a tag team partner.

Yes, because the titles are getting unified. And it's happening at TLC, which means it won't happen at Wrestlemania. I don't mind seeing them in a feud, but I don't think it should be one of the three main events next year.

No, because they have no chemistry together. Plus, the crowd's likely going to crap all over it, like they did with Orton/Big Show. I dunno, it's Texas. Fans in Texas don't seem that harsh.

I wouldn't say that I'm "excited," but I'm not shitting on the match either. The past two stipulation matches between Orton and Cena have been hits and misses for me (loved the Ironman match, hated HIAC), so I'll remain optimistic.
What I am excited about, however, is the unification itself.
