I'll have you know that my father's last wish while on his death bed was to see Cena and Orton one more time!

Two of the greatest at the WWE main-event style, in the ultimate WWE gimmick match? Hell yeah I'm excited.

I think the match will be pretty damn good.
The story so far isn't really exciting since it was pretty much Cena just showing up and being like "Hey. Unification?" "Huh...Okay."

...I'm looking forward to it. I enjoyed the hell out of the stip matches in the last Cena/Orton rivalry, so I'm going into this one optimistic.

It really shows the state of WWE that we are having to use these two guys AGAIN.
I like John Cena overall and enjoy Randy Orton's in ring work when he is against someone who has a larger than life personality, but seeing these two in a pay per view match does not appeal to me.
At this point, the match is better off being a RAW match.
Back when Smackdown versus RAW came out, people really wanted to see them face off for the first time, but their first encounter was wasted on the Eddie Guerrero tribute show and finished with Randy Orton walking off. When they finally got these two to have a feud, it was way past when it would be interesting and they never did main event Wrestlemania as many would have liked.

Only if Cena doing the thumbs up thumbs down was actually teasing a Batista return.

I imagine anyone that started watching WWE in 2010 and later would be excited for it. I'm sure it will be a good match but I could care less about the outcome. Yay, more accolades for the two most over pushed guys in wrestling history.

Not at all. A testament to how overboard WWE went with this feud when you consider they barely touched for 6 years and it still feels too soon to come back to this. Orton tried killing Cena with pyro and kicking his Dad in the head and they couldn't draw any tangible heat then, you certainly can't raise the stakes this go around, and the title unification doesn't make it any more compelling because they both have enough accolades that I can't bring myself to give a shit which of them scores another. Like, pairing these two together to me just negates how historic this merger really is. A WWE universe with either John Cena or Randy Orton as the one real Champion really isn't a fresh concept and even with the 2 titles we've had all these years, everyone knew what the real championship was anyways. This match, though admittedly could be and probably will be good, feels absolutely inconsequential.

I'm pretty excited about it, yeah.
I've always thought Cena and Orton have excellent chemistry in the ring, and they have yet to have a match together that I've disliked. I'm always entertained by their feuds, and that's the point, right?
I'm looking forward to the match.

Saw it pointed out that thet, between free TV and PPV, the two of them have wrestled 67 times before in televised matches. That's naerly a match per month for a six straight years. That's not new, exciting, or worth paying for.

Matches were done a thousand times over on PPV back in the Attitude Era. How many times did we see HHH/Rock or Austin/Taker? A whole lot. At least there's been a 4 year gap with Cena/Orton.

Fair point. I suppose it just seems odd givne that the title picture, or at least the "real" main event picture is so much smaller than it was back then.

But those angles had great storylines and the support of other characters to keep it interesting. And they all happened in a roughly 4 year period.
