In the 80's, it was always said that Andre was sort of the kingpin of the locker room, and that he would deal with internal struggles, and all that.
In the 90's and early 2000's, Taker sort of fulfilled that role, even having the whole "wrestlers' court" thing.
Who do you think is fulfilling that role in modern day WWE?

Maybe Kane since he's been there for quite some time.

Isn't it HHH or does he not count since he's corporate now?

Probably Cena, he seems like the guy that would never be too big for the locker room like Hogan was.

Honestly, there probably is not a "leader". I'd figure it's just everyone looking out for each other.

Probably Cena. Striker made it sound like that in his shoot.

If I were to guess, I'd probably say Kane.
1. He's been employed for years.
2. He's never been busted for.. anything.
3. Everyone seems to respect him and Taker tremendously.
Only reason he might not be is because Kane seems like he leads a relatively quiet life away from all the minutia of backstage politics.

I'm guessing Cena. Hell I remember reading a report Cena broke up a fist fight between Cryme Time and Murdoch and Cade. He is probably a guy who watches every match on the show and is constantly volunteering himself in giving advice to wrestlers.

I don't know...I think that's assuming Cena is similar in real life to how he is portrayed on TV. And if Kenny Dykstra and Michael Tarver have taught us anything, it's that Cena in real life may be very different than we'd expect.

JR said it used to be Cena/Jericho on Raw and Christian on SD but I'm sure that's changed now.
It's probably Cena, Orton and Punk these days. I imagine Big Show and other vets (Henry and Kane) have a place in the locker room but they don't really cause problems and they have unlimited respect. They stay out of major locker room business I'm sure.

I don't think those issues have anything to do with Cena so much as they do WWE management being over protective of him and unleashing the wrath of God on some poor soul if their cash cow so much as stubs his toe.

I'd image Kane's influence is if he says something needs to happen or gives "strong advice" then it gets done. Never heard anyone say a negative thing about him, everybody seems to love the guy, and he has helped a ton of people and been unselfish. I'd say that probably carries a lot of weigth with everyone.

Brad Maddox. That GM spot is his shoot locker room role.
