Considering the elements of it are about to be tied up with the 1-champ thing, I was wondering when the split formally stopped being a thing? I know the supershow was the start of it, but even last year, during Del Rio/Sheamus, Cole referred to ADR as 'the newest member of the Smackdown! roster". Were there any elements or snippets I missed that somehow demonstrated the split coming to a formal end?

When Raw became a regular 3 hour show.

I believe it was a few months ago when they ended brand specific house shows. Now everything is simply "WWE Live". I would consider that the formal end of the brand split.

3-hour RAWs would be my guess.

Technically, it ended when they started letting everyone appear on Raw in 2011/2012. I think they just formally ended it earlier this year though.

I think they could've made a bigger deal out of it and garnered some interest, rather than doing it gradually and letting things kind of peter out.

Bragging Rights would've been a bigger deal for one. It was a relatively big thing in 2003/2004 to have a superstar trade shows, or inter-promotional matches. Mind, the 'E did have precedence in not being able to successfully and fully capitalize on inter-promotional buzz.

When they started billing Raw as the "Raw SuperShow" in 2011 (I think).
