in the thread in WWE Current asking in Vince could commentate today someone said he'd still be better than literally every other commentator in the business. Then that got me thinking, that poster is pretty much right unfortunately.
Now on the indie scene I love Denver Colorado and the Anarchy Championship Wrestling team, but looking at the bigger companies with few exceptions it's all been pretty horrible for a pretty long time.
JBL is probably the best in my opinion, but he has no one good to work off of so he can only do so much.

I miss goofy 1980s/early 1990s "one, two, he got 'im" Vince. It's pretty sad, IMO, how different evil Mr. McMahon is compared to original Vince. He was cheesy but it was a good cheese.

I really like JBL. If we're talking play-by-play then IMO both Tenay and Cole are sadly devoid of personality.
