In the "booking that makes sense" category, I'd say yes. Schmozz ending at TLC, rumble for the title HHH is surprise 30th entrant and wins. Culminates in Bryan vs. HHH at Mania with Bryan getting his career-defining moment, beating HHH for the one and only WWE Championship at WrestleMania 30. Its too perfect, therefore it won't happen. So where does Bryan earn the shot at HUN-TOR? Elimination Chamber? If this is to end at 'mania, I'd have Bryan enter the Royal Rumble at #1 go an hour and win, to face whoever the Authority has decided to get behind as "their" Champion at Wrestlemania and win the big one there.

My fantasy booking in my head had Sheamus returning and aligning himself with HHH and Authority by attacking Cena after he's won. If this is to end at 'mania, I'd have Bryan enter the Royal Rumble at #1 go an hour and win, to face whoever the Authority has decided to get behind as "their" Champion at Wrestlemania and win the big one there. Can we combine these two? Then not only could Bryan beat the Authority at Mania, but could also redeem "18 seconds."

Can we combine these two? Then not only could Bryan beat the Authority at Mania, but could also redeem "18 seconds." That reminds me of how Summerslam should've gone... Bryan should win the MitB shot and Sheamus should win the world title and Bryan should declare he's cashing in at Summerslam and this will be his big chance at finally catching the brass ring and redeeming himself and all that and then it's the PPV main event and the bell rings and BROGUE KICK OUTTA NOWHERE 1--2--3! and the match is over in 17 seconds. Then Sheamus gets a mic and says "Tough shit, fella."

They wouldn't put the Title on a guy who never wrestles during WrestleMania season. That'd just be silly, if you smell what I'm cooking.

At this moment IMO Haitch is the odds on favorite to walk out with both titles at TLC. Second most likely option includes HHH getting the titles the next night on Raw.

I don't even care anymore.
But Bryan isn't beating HHH at Mania, Bryan isn't winning the belt at Mania, and Bryan damn sure isn't beating HHH FOR the belt at Mania.

This is overtly cynical bullcrap. HHH would have to officially place himself before the match. This isn't happening, and is just as laughable as believing Nash texting himself would lead to anything good. Not really. For example, Steve Austin when he was the guest referee during the Kane/Undertaker Judgment Day 1998 title match counted 1-2-3 when both men were flat on their back and then declared himself to be the champion. He was promptly fired by Vince McMahon, sure, but it still happened. A precedent was then set. If Triple H shenanigans occur, it would probably unfold like this: Cena and Orton are at the top of the ladder in the middle of the ring. Both men are punching furiously to knock the other off the ladder. Both men start to lose their balance as the ladder begins tipping. The ladder falls towards the aisle as Cena and Orton fly off and crash through several tables they have set up on the outside of the ring. Both men physically cannot continue. Triple H comes out, surveys the situation, and decides to climb the ladder and grab both titles because that's 'what's best for business'.

If it meant we'd get Bryan winning the title from Trips at Mania I'd be all for it. But since it won't happen, meh.

Oh, and this won't happen for the obvious reason that Triple H thinks he's a big enough deal that him wrestling on PPV deserves to be hyped up and promoted well in advance.
