I'm a huge Goldust fan, but I admit he doesn't exactly have a resume of 5 star matches. However, I do think he's been involved in a ton of great matches that often get overlooked. So, what are your picks for the top 3 Goldust matches in the WWE?

No mention of his feud with Razor Ramon? I honestly can't name any off of the top of my head, but they had some good battles over the I-C title.

I considered including their match from Royal Rumble 1996, which I'm almost certain was Marlena's debut. But the truth is, I wouldn't recommend or endorse that match like I would the 14 included in this poll. I loved Goldust's gimmick in the mid 90s, but it may have hurt the quality of his matches at the time. Very slow-paced and more mind games than action.

Goldust & Cody Rhodes vs The Shield - BattleGround 2013. Goldust vs Chris Jericho - WWE Superstars. Goldust vs Ahmed Johnson - King of the Ring 1996.

Goldust vs Ahmed Johnson at King of the Ring 96, because I loved everything about that feud

Never really saw any of his early work but
Rhodes Brothers vs Shield Battleground Goldust vs Randy Orton Rhodes Brothers vs Shield for tag titles
I don't really count the 12 man tag on Raw as a Goldust match.

Oh crap, I forgot his feud with Hunter Hearst Helmsley in 1997. They had some pretty enjoyable matches, with Goldust playing the babyface in peril.
He was the Big Show of his time every time Chyna grabbed Marlena and whipped her around rag-doll style. Bawlin' his eyes out.

Dig the ones mentioned, I'll throw in Sheamus vs. Goldust from Superstars in August of 2009. I don't know the date but Goldust won the match and it was really really good.

I still love that they actually acknowledged Goldust beating Sheamus months later and had him have a shot at the WWE title on Raw.

Vs. Undertaker at IYH: Mind Games. Really strong, underrated match. Actually, his whole feud with the Undertaker in '96 is great stuff. No mention of his feud with Razor Ramon? I honestly can't name any off of the top of my head, but they had some good battles over the I-C title. I'll second this too.

His match with Jericho in Superstars was good, too. So cool that they had the opportunity to lock-up once more. They've hardly worked together.
It's hard to remember his earlier stuff off-hand. I liked his matches with Owen on Shotgun, and obviously his recent work with The Shield and Orton is up there, too.
We really need a Goldust DVD. It seemed unlikely before, but this most recent run is going to increase his chances tenfold. Dude has a story worth telling.

There was a thread like this about Booker T, where we had trouble naming a bunch of great matches he had. But it's generally agreed that he was a strong worker. Similar case for Goldust, but now he's having more overtly impressive matches becuase that's more the direction WWE is going in lately. His feud with Hunter Hearst Helmsley was full of good matches, but not "must see" type matches. The style then was slower and more based on holds, fans were more patient and there were less high spots.

Can't believe you only have one match from 1996 and no matches from 2010, arguably his two best non-2013 years.

Like I said earlier about his 1996 stuff: "I considered including their match from Royal Rumble 1996, which I'm almost certain was Marlena's debut. But the truth is, I wouldn't recommend or endorse that match like I would the 14 included in this poll. I loved Goldust's gimmick in the mid 90s, but it may have hurt the quality of his matches at the time. Very slow-paced and more mind games than action." I'm actually pretty surprised people suggested his match with Ahmed Johnson at KOTR to be honest. I thought that match was pretty dull. What else from 1996 do you think was snubbed? As for 2010, I admit it was an oversight not to include his match with Jericho from Superstars. His match with Sheamus from this year was pretty good, but I think people really only remember it because it was a rare case of WWE using continuity and historical data on television. Again, I'd love to hear what else should have been included. Agreed on Jericho for sure, not totally sold on Sheamus, and have to disagree with Ahmed.

Seriously no one has mentioned his match vs RVD from No Way Out 2002? I expected total filler but it was a damn good match they had.

Yeah I remember the RVD match and being shocked at how well they worked together.
I also remember him and Taker had a few decent ones in 1996.

Two matches that haven't been mentioned that I enjoy, Vs Shawn Michaels from Raw in 1996 ( championship Friday) Vs Val Venis from Judgment Day 1998
