I attended a WWF show in 1995 at the Centre 200 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. I forget a lot of the card, but the show was somewhat notable as Lex Luger's second last show before jumping to WCW. He showed up on Nitro the Monday after it. He lost to Yokozuna that night and the crowd actually chanted "USA" towards Luger.

They don't have the results from the first event I attended, but for others that took place around the same time nearby, so I'm thinking it was Jim Neidhart vs. The Warlord in 1989.

It was on the Wrestlemania Revenge tour in 2008, I think it was Umaga and Snitsky vs Londrick. I don't remember much about the match itself but it was great because the crowd was behind Umaga (seriously probably the biggest pop of the night behind Jericho) all the way but f***ing hated Snitsky, so every time Umaga tagged in he looked confused at the people cheering and every time Snitsky tagged in he looked jealous and ready to take out his frustrations on the vanilla midgets. The finish was pretty cool too, double Samoan drop by Umaga on both of Londrick.

I went to a Nitro in 1999 that I think started with two jobbers. One of them might have been Reno, as he was billed from Vegas.

From a WCW house show in Hammond, IN (3/21/98): Bill Goldberg defeats Brad Armstrong
I remember being upset that they didn't count it towards Goldberg's streak on the following Nitro, lol.

My first show was a random show full of geeks doing knock-off WWF gimmicks for a school birthday party in the late 90s, so I'm disregarding that, and giving this as my answer...
Norman Smiley vs. Brian Knobbs - WCW house show in London on March 11th 2000.

Wrestling Challenge taping, September 1987. Steve Lombardi vs. some Warmonger guy? Or Warrior? I didn't catch the name. He had face paint and arm tassels.

This thread is particularly interesting to me because I was just thinking about this recently. Growing up in Memphis as the son of a local wrestler, (jobber) I was lucky enough to see live wrestling at a very early age. I know I saw others before this one, but the first that I can really remember was December 2, 1963, when Sputnik Monroe beat Mario Milano in the Main Event at the old Ellis Auditorium. I remember this because it was the first show after the Kennedy assassination in Memphis. The regular Monday night show on 11/26 had been cancelled, which was a big deal at our house because the guys didn't get paid. My dad was really mad, because he didn't like Kennedy even before he didn't get a check.
Anyway, I remember there was nothing else on TV all week long it seemed like. (in the days when there were only 3 channels) Then they announced the matches would be held on 12/2, and my dad was relieved because he was on the card and it was a sellout- I guess everybody in town wanted some relief from the recent events. I was excited to go with him because TV had been so boring. I stayed backstage most of the time, but there was a spot where the "boys" could look out at the ring, so I went there for my dad's match (he lost, against someone I can't remember) and then again for Sputnik Monroe's match because I thought he was so funny.
I remember almost no other details (I was only 5 years old) but this one sticks out because we talked about for a long time afterward. I admit to looking up the exact dates, and Sputnik's opponent's name. I haven't been able to find the full card, so I still don't know who my dad wrestled. I thought about it again a couple of weeks ago when the 50th anniversary of the assassination was in the news. If anybody comes across the full card, i'd love to see it.

Some company called UWF I think it was. I remember the ring broke in the middle and the wrestlers had to stay out of the middle the rest of the show. Main Event was Sgt. Slaughter vs The Shiek. Only other people I remember being there were David Sammartino and Wendy Richter. Think it was in 87.
