Titles held up until Wrestlemania because of shenanigans and a schmozz to end the Royal Rumble. Multi-man scramble match for all the beans at Mania, only open to former champions. Bryan wins.

DB/Punk vs CX (Corporation X- can;t use Ax because that would be AX and everyone would wonder why Curtis Axel and Demolition Ax are doing in the match).
HHH " and if you're not down with that then you'll hear from our attorneys!" HBK " LAWYERS!"

Would they really book HBK's first match in four years with him as a heel? As over as Bryan is, it'd still take some massive dicking from Michaels to keep the crowd from turning on DB. HHH is a massive enough dick for both of them.

Shawn Michaels is a legend and was one of the best in-ring performers ever. But I want him to stay retired. I know this is pro wrestling where retirements are irrelevant and Terry Funk has retired dozens of times, but Shawn Michaels' retirement was right up there with Ric Flair's in terms of importance and seeming permanence. I want his retirement to have merit, and as great as a perceived Michaels vs. Daniel Bryan match would be, I'd be happier with Michaels staying on the sidelines.

A tag match? That would suck TBH.

I highly doubt HBK will come back, even for one more match. He's having too good a time away from wrestling to really want to come back for anything other than a special appearance here and there.
That said, if there's any way he can be convinced to do Mania vs. Bryan, it should be done. It's as perfect as it gets.
They already have the teacher vs. student thing (Yes, yes... HBK didn't ACTUALLY train DB, it was just the school HBK owned.... but that doesn't make as good of a story)... Bryan is just one tiny moment away from becoming the heir to Cena's throne and a showstealing match with HBK could be exactly what would do that. You have two of the greatest wrestlers in the last 30 years in one ring on the biggest show of them all... short of Punk vs. Austin, it's a marquee match WM has been seriously missing. Rock vs. Cena was the last marquee match, but that was the Icon vs. Icon match for the fans who maybe went away for a while and were interested that The Rock was coming back. Basically, it was the marquee match for sports entertainment fans. HBK vs. Bryan is a marquee match for WRESTLING fans.
There doesn't even have to be a face vs. heel thing. HBK is so good, people will just want to see him wrestle... so you know people will applaud his performance anyway. Bryan is so over I can't even believe it. So the only heel vs. face part is the promos leading up to it... HBK can heel it up as much as he wants, come to the ring... then throughout the course of the match, he develops respect for Bryan. I would assume the most logical way to go would be Bryan getting the win after a hard-fought match, then HBK gives him his seal of approval, raises his hand, hug, then walks out. It'd close the chapter on the unwritten story of teacher vs. student, it'd pass the torch from Michaels to Bryan, Bryan would have gotten revenge and respect from his teacher.... and HBK can end the match as a face and walk away with no commitments to return at any point.
