By all accounts, he's been a pretty horrible father (and no, I'm not talking about Miley's behavior, I'm talking about her issues with him). That's worthy of an apology. He did come across as quite dense in interviews. Miley appears to be much brighter than him, including when she explained she had to keep him from hiring a Mr. T impersonator to be on Hannah Montana because he thought it was the real Mr. T. |

Achey Breaky Heart is one shitty song. Miley Cyrus has created dozens and at the moment is inescapable in her shittness.
Also Miley has probably been a bad influence on many teenagers, and her friends, and probably broken the hearts of her former Disney fans, and may well end up doing herself a lot of damage.
Basically on any level Miley is worse.

Miley Cyrus has made several legitimately enjoyable songs. I think some people need to get over the fact that they aren't her intended audience. Yeah, she's pulled some stupid stunts this year, but honestly, why give a f***?

I was in high school when Achy Breaky Heart hit. And that damn song helped that pop "country" crap music take over the airwaves. Where as real country music got shoved aside.

Say what you want about Miley, why should he apologize for her? What she does was her choose and like it or not. She had made Ten times more money then her dad did. She been very successful. I'm not a fan of hers and people either like her or they don't but she where she is because more do like her and she does things to get people talking and that what she wants. It's simple for the world to get rid of her that would ignore her and she will go away. But nobody is going to do that.
