What exactly is wrong with the fans saying what they want? If they cheer for what Vince wants then Vince won't know that they want something different. But wrestling has always worked like that. But you've never really had an audience that's crapped all over other matches to make their point. Other than when Flair left WCW abruptly, I cannot recall it. There has to be an element of passivity from an audience or else you may as well book the entire show via a poll on the WWE app. Even if they do decide to push Bryan there are likely going to be ways they''ll want to take advantage of his popularity and lead up to a big "YES!" moment rather than just throw him in now, at what is traditionally the ass-end of the year for WWE, before the big WM push, just because crowds demand it. So yeah show he's popular and cheer and support him but this whole "Anything but Bryan sucks" attitude, I fear we're getting is both kinda rude to the two guys who will be in the ring and may also be counter productive. If I was WWE I'd place Bryan in Mania main event probably following Rumble win. That'd be a great way to really capitalise on this momentum. This whole "Bryan now, now, now, now" thing mightn't be wise and mightn't be the way WWE wants to present it. Surely there is only so much fans should be able to or think they should be able to dictate. And if the fans didn't cheer for who they want (Bryan) then they wouldn't have him win the Rumble or have a main event Mania match in your scenario. According to you, the fans shouldn't have been cheering like they have for Bryan so in that case Vince never would have known the fans want to see him pushed to the moon. Vince does what he wants but he can't always ignore the fans. Bryan is what the fans want to see and they have let them know that.

Without the stipulation, yes, but as long as the two bring out tables as soon as possible, it will be fine.

It being a TLC match can help, but considering how injury prone Orton is these days and how Cena's probably still not fully recovered from surgery, I don't see either of them doing too many big spots.

If Daniel Bryan is who they want they should chant for Daniel Bryan until it gets through the wax in WWE's ears. Isnt that going a bit far? I understand "we want X in main event", but this? Not when in an uncountable amount of WWE documentaries, the talent interviewed praises us for doing so. It's kind of the issue with their perceived problem with the audience chanting for what the WWE doesn't want. They have an issue with it but the next documentary or video or interview or anything has people praising the WWE universe saying it's the best audience in the history of ever. You can't really be mad at something you appear to encourage.

See WCW would've never even got ahead if the fans had just DONE THEIR JOBS and let Mabel and Savio into their hearts.

It's a TLC match so hopefully the crowd isn't ungrateful and shows these 2 guys the respect they deserve for beating each other with weapons for 30 minutes LMAO, "ungrateful." Damn those rotten assholes for paying money to see a show and daring to give their opinion on it! Yeah, they're assholes if they don't have enough respect for two wrestlers to at least let them ATTEMPT to entertain them. Anyone who starts chanting random shit 5 seconds into a match is completely disrespectful

I really doubt WWE of all people would give people a hardcore match and not go balls to the wall with it!

They will mainly be crapping on it because it will be an awful match.
Just like most of this PPV will be.

And where will it stop. Will soon crowds crap over any main where the person they think should be there isn't. We're not a million miles away then from "This show must be booked like this____ or we riot" It's absolutely the crowd's right to get behind who they want, chant for who they want and drown out whatever they don't like.

You're right, but we're getting into pretty subjective territory. If I am at the show and I boo, only to have someone tell me to stop because I'm "ruining the show for the kids" or something, then what response is there? Is the solution "If you don't like what they're doing in the main event, but do like the undercard, go and just "play along" in the main event? Is it, "Leave when it gets to what you don't like" or is that being negative? I've had this debate4 many times, but have never been able to figure out what the "right" answer is. I don't ever want or intend to ruin a show for others, but is the only option "sit on your hands, leave, or play along"?

Exactly. Now... If you're home alone and yelling "DAN-IEL BRY-AN!!" at the top of your lungs while clapping to absolutely NO ONE and you're not watching TLC but an episode of Downton Abbey... You might be insane.

See I know that Cena and Orton can put on a great match, especially if there's a major stipulation involved. However I know that if the crowd tonight does nothing but chant "Daniel Bryan" during the match, it's going to take away from the story and not be as surreal as it should be.
