Maybe not, but I could see him as a credible challenger over the summer.
I'm trying to think of guys who could plausibly have a one-on-one singles match against John Cena as a PPV main event where it would not either 1. feel absolutely lopsided, or 2. be a rehash of a match that's happened repeatedly before, and Bray's one of the only names on the fulltime roster that comes to mind.

I can see almost anyone as champion with the right kind of storytelling and presentation behind it. It's not like it's a very exclusive club anymore.

But he didn't have this stupid as hell one either, and he was way better in the ring without the stupid theatrics. And as lame as the running splash thing was as a finisher, it was better than the one he has now. |
