Not having Daniel Bryan in the Rumble match sounds like just the kind of stupid thing the WWE would do.

The only hope I still have for Bryan to win the rumble is if they are planning for Orton to drop the belt by EC and have Bryan vs somebody else main event. I think it's pretty certain Batista vs Randy is on the books so just hope Randy loses the title by then.

I agree. The Rumble PPV should be all hands on deck. They should be doing one or the other so that more guys can get squeezed onto the show, not both.

I am starting to think Batista will fill the Jericho/RVD role. Dominate the Rumble but not win but maybe he fights Ortons at EC. Feels like WM will be Bryan/Orton or Orton/Punk for the title.

I think it's been a while since we've had this many debutants in a 30 man Rumble. Nine of the 20/21 announced (if Barrett is still off the WWE.com list when I wake up, I'll edit the graphic) will be in their first Rumble...

In an ideal world (if they desperately wanted to book these two matches, which it looks like) I would make both Brock/Show and Bryan/Bray Rumble qualifying matches, with Bryan and Brock going over. They are just massive names to be left out of the thing this year (if that will in fact be the case) that it feels illogical to me to not have them in the match.

I don't think the NAO will be in. I think it'll be Seth Rollins.

Only reason I mentioned NAO was they could easily be tossed by Punk in a 2-on-1 spot without it hurting them and giving Authority friendly people an advantage would play into the whole thing they got going. Shield getting an advantage on him and not being able to toss him might look bad so I am not sure they'd go with that or tease any tension between them that early in the show. But, yeah, using two spots on NAO in this Rumble would be questionable (and that is ignoring them pulling double duty in my scenario).

If Bryan isn't in the Rumble, that would mean he sadly was concussed after all. But thankfully there's the Chamber.
