Without the WHC, the field of Royal rumble winners really shrinks. Even the last couple of years with the lower importance on the WHC, more guys had a shot at winning it. I feel like those guys still have a chance at winning, but if they do get the title match, it's not closing the show. Even with only one title, I don't see WWE giving up their "put the belt on a guy to GET them over" method of booking. We'll just see a system where Cena, Orton, Punk, and the part timers are "bigger than the title" while newer guys get runs with the belt. |

If I were to guess, Cody's going to get his usual long Rumble run so it's the pre-show to give him some more time to cool down first.
I also think he's going to eliminate Goldust again. Them acknowledging it happening last year and Goldust saying he wants revenge for it seems like it was setting up for something to happen between them this year.

They've mentioned tonight (amongst other I probably missed) that Damien Sandow, Harper, Rowan and the Usos are in the Rumble match.

Very unlikely they'll all be in it and I think they would have announced a star as big as Bryan being in the match by now. |

With things to do Bryan, I have to expect anything to happen, so until all 30 people have gotten into that Rumble match, I'm keeping hope that he's a shot at getting in the match and winning the thing.
