So yeah, there have been many times in the past where I've gotten mad at the state of WWE or specific instances and just wanted to be done. After the past few months and tonight's PPV, it's almost like I'm beyond getting angry because I go into these things with zero expectations. I'm not breaking out the pitchforks and demanding Vince's head on a stick, but just sitting in front of my TV thinking "Jesus, I wish I wasn't a lifelong wrestling addict". I don't need Punk and Bryan dominating every show or any of the other internet stereotypes, but good god would I just like something exciting to watch.
Anyone else in this boat?

Yeah I've been kind of bored lately too, mostly because things aren't as captivating as they used to be. Even the "good" stuff lately hasn't had that special feel to it.

Yeah but no more-so then any other year in the lead-up to Mania. The lead-up to Mania is always really boring for me, there is rarely ever anything for me to get invested in in the build. I usually mentally check-out until after Mania, when Extreme Rules often ends up being a much better PPV then Mania.

I feel a lot more invested in the product than I did this time in 2011, when JoMo left and Sheamus was buggering around squashing Jinder Mahal on Smackdown over and over and Mark Henry's awesome WHC run got torpedoed so the comedy midget could ride CM Punk's coattails and R-Truth turned face and lost everything that made his character cool and unique and the big things we were supposed to be looking forward to were yet another Chris Jericho return and then a Wrestlemania buildup of Cena and Rock talking about all the gay sex they want to have with each other.

Totally. Have been for months. It's why I usually see what The Shield or Real Americans and DBry are doing in like the first hour, and then tune out and watch something else.

I've been bored since about 2002. Bored is the norm. Occasionally interrupted with interesting flashes in the pan like Nexus, the Walkout, the Summer of Punk etc....that quickly amount to very little.

I felt this way after Smackdown last week. The whole thing dragged and I had no interest in it.

Kind of yeah, mostly because I'm waiting for the Rumble to start. The other reason is that I don't even think the WWE knows where they want to go with things. They've got some huge clustersmurf of Hunter, HBK, Bryan, Punk, Cena and Orton and there are so many directions they can go with, but they don't actually know where they want to go so they keep throwing hints of like every combo of these guys to keep people interested.

That's the primary reason why I'm not bored at all. Last year at this point, we all kinda had a sense that Punk/Taker and Rock/Cena II were probably in the books. I like the fact that I'm totally clueless as to how Wrestlemania XXX might look.

Yes and no. While I do feel that the product is somewhat stagnant and boring, I do derive great joy from ripping on it with (bad) jokes and D-Bry, the Shield, Real Americans, and Mizark generally make it worth checking out weekly. In short I don't love it, but I'm not bored enough to take another break yet. We'll see what the Road to Wrestlemania brings.

Yeah, I have to say I'm really loving the fact that we don't know what any of the matches at Wrestlemania will be next year. All we know is that there will likely be three main events, but all three could be of any combination.

Isn't it already pretty much guaranteed to be Punk/Orton, HHH(proxy)/Vince(proxy) and Lesnar/Undertaker with Goldust/Cody also penciled in?

I'm not a regular watcher but this year had me more bored than before. I feel like I shouldn't be, considering guys like Punk, Bryan, The Shield and others are getting TV time, but I am. I'm not going to watch a 3 hour show for maybe 1 or 2 good segments or matches, and the PPVs I have seen this year have been very underwhelming.

Yep.
I reccomend a clean break like me, or just watching the things that people appreciate on the board. In an age of the networking we have...there's less reason to tune into a 3 hour show that tends to be 90% disappointing. I'll wait till it's over and have people judge the good and the bad...and maybe I'll go back and watch the good, such as that Orton/Bryan match.

I'm usually very positive about stuff, and often watch a show and think it was really good only to be baffled by the criticism it received. But lately I have just been getting so bored of what wwe is putting out, there is some good performers out there but the shows seems so formulaic and seemingly the same matches over and over again. Last night's show was just a chore to watch, and even though orton v Bryan might have been a good match, the rest of the show sucked the life so much out of me that I wasn't really paying attention to it and was just waiting for it to end. I hope it gets better soon, but wwe is just really really boring at the moment ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)
