I guess they're pushing Brodus Clay, because I found it weird seeing him as a Brawlin' Buddy. When I was a kid, I think the lowest roster member was the Big Bossman, and he was pretty heavily established. But then again, they mostly used jobbers so a lot of guys were strongly established.
My guess is Maddox had experience with toys like that and has probably done that before.

For half of the "brawl" it looked like Brad's brawling buddy was blowing Vickie's.

The sad thing is that segment as stupid and childish as it was was probably the most subtle bit of foreshadowing I've ever seen on WWE. Unless I'm reading too much into it.
