These two have a great chemistry and it showed tonight. I just don't understand why they didn't bring it in their PPV matches. Orton was playing a coward who wasn't meant to be able to hang with any main event guys without help. Orton plays characters well and shows it in ring, sometimes to the detriment of the matches themselves. They seem to have ceased with that now allowing him to be as driven as he was pre-heel turn in matches. I mean, compare June 2013 no-dq Bryan vs Orton to one of their PPV matches and he had the same fire he had tonight. I think being a cowardly character in general is often a detriment to their matches. CM Punk during his long WWE title reign, after his heel turn, is a perfect example of this.

This is the first time I ever recall in wrestling where a guy get's Low-Blowed and they act like he needed medical attention from the damage.
I loved it

That was a great match. That's the first time I've been able to say that about Orton since he turned heel, hopefully this is a sign that somebody has told him to stop being intentionally boring.
WWE can be weird sometimes, they've had a succession of awful PPV main-events but consistently give away MotY candidates on TV, not that I'm complaining but I just don't see how that's best for business.

Orton is great I don't care what anyone says. I enjoyed his promo with Renee before the match too.

Orton can be frustrating at times because he has those moments where he's just freaking amazing (and when he's in that mode, he might be the best wrestler in the company).
And then he has those moments where he's Randy-Bot 1000, going through the motions.
So Bi-polar...

These two have a great chemistry and it showed tonight. I just don't understand why they didn't bring it in their PPV matches. I think it was because those matches were built around the bullshit inclusion of HHH and Stephanie, rather than just two dudes ripping shit up out there for 30 minutes. They were handicapped from the get-go. This match was a case wherein since the belt wasn't at stake, it just ended up being a pure wrestling match void of fluff or bells or whistles or overbooked garbage.

The only thing I hated about that match was Cena coming out afterward. It was an excellent main. Cena needed to make sure Bryan's balls were all right. He has an evil plan to switch Bellas so Nikki ends up pregnant and he can just f*** off and go on with his awesome life, guilt-free.

I don't understand why their PPV matches always sucked so much because when they wrestle on Raw they tear the house down every single time. I thought the NOC and Battleground matches were great up until the finishes.

I like how these two have main-evented four PPV's, and yet the two best matches between them have been on free TV.

I don't understand why their PPV matches always sucked so much because when they wrestle on Raw they tear the house down every single time. Could it be because they know that more people see Raw than order the PPV? I seem to remember a story about someone, might have been Raven, who would agree to put anyone over on PPV, but made sure he got his win back on television, knowing more people would see him win. The match was great, but it's not just the wrestling that made Raw work last night, Orton just seemed... better at everything than he has been of late. I hope he keeps this up, because he was more entertaining to watch than recent months. Maybe it's motivation bringing this out of him, there are loads of wrestlers like that, who can be GREAT, but only when they want to be. DQ ending aside, this was just two guys going out there and wrestling, and the crowd ate it up. WWE could learn something from that.

I would also point to this match if anybody ever again tries to pull the "oh the crowd doesn't really care about Bryan, they just like to chant YES" card. Dallas was acting as though Bryan was the Cowboys.

That match was a work of art. From the escalating violence to the sheer desperation from both wrestlers to the brutal nutshot, this match was an emotional roller coaster. Some wrestlers are so damn good with each other where they transcend chemistry and become magical.
