Raw did 4.18 million viewers last night, largely due to a super strong first hour coming off the PPV. But the drop in viewers during the show was larger than for any show in recent memory.
The Baltimore Ravens vs. Detroit Lions game did 14.16 million viewers head-to-head.
The three hours were:
8 p.m. 4.42 million viewers
9 p.m. 4.30 million viewers
10 p.m. 3.89 million viewers
Given the wild fluctuation in viewers per home in recent weeks, the rating would fall between a 2.9 and 3.2.

Bryan/Orton build lead to biggest drop off in recent memory?
Cue: "Pffft, those jerks will blame it all on Bryan" from fans who ironically themselves will seek to blame it all on Orton

Gee, I wonder why a match we've already seen half a dozen times this year didn't draw in the main event slot.

If people argue they cannot return to superstar vs jobber matches we cannot not expect industrial scale repetition. There's 80+ men and women on the main roster, yet we get the same 25-30 working Raw every single week. If they actually made better use of the roster there'd be far less repitition.

Aw, too bad more people didn't stay up... I didn't watch most of the show, but read on here that the match was good, so I caught the last half of it or so. It was a lot of fun!

Maybe they should have made it a title match.

I wonder what the play-by-play will say. It's possible the main event and overrun actually gained a bit of viewers that were drawn away by other segments.

There hasn't been a minute-by-minute or quarter-by-quarter breakdown in about 2 months. Probably won't get one here either. That's usually how the third hour works though. Pretty much every segment bombs until the last quarter/overrun.

So they had a good turnout to get the fallout from TLC. Then they managed to lose half a million viewers over the course of the show. That's 20 percent of your audience saying "screw it, what else is on". That's not exactly a good thing.

I don't understand why they didn't make it a title match for ratings purposes especially with that ending. Makes sence in Kayfabe tho Brian lost his match at TLC while Punk beat the freakin Shield so Punk would deserve a title match first.

Wouldn't shock me. I seem to recall that long main event matches usually lose viewers since there is nothing to watch for until the end unless there is some sort of hook like a the title being on the line or it being a gimmick match of some sort.

LMAO. The f*** did they expect? You put on a rotten show for two hours and then have a super long main event match. Of course people are gonna change the channel.
