Are you looking for his best promos of all time?
His promo at Mania 20 is pretty good.

Orton's typical of someone who would be fine cutting a promo with an interviewer in a studio, talking into camera but completely falls to pieces when 8,000 people are chanting stuff at him. He isn't the first and won't be the last but the company seem unconcerned that this way destroys the on-mic ability/impact of 80% of what is said for about 80% of their guys.
I think in the old-school interview style, Orton would be considered one of the top mic workers around today.

There's no need to ever have a twenty minute promo. For the most part, do a five minute shot with Mean Gene (or the equivalent), have the talent make the salient points they need to that'll further whatever feud they're in, and be done with it.

Absolutely. It takes longer to play the music, walk to the ring, pick up the mic and wait for crowd noise to subside that it would take to cut a backstage interview type promo. It's so time-wasteful.

I didn't enjoy it but I'll never forget when he talked about how the idea of wrestling Christian again was "comical" and that he was "laughing on the inside."

I thought his promo last night was a career best.

I still think his promo last week on Raw was pretty good.
But I prefer Orton to talk less and RKO/punt more. He's not a great talker and better off just killing fools who cross him.
