Whatever happened to "Love Thy Neighbor"? I love my neighbor all the time. But only when her husband is out of town.

Cracker Barrel has cracked. They are pulling Duck Dynasty merch from their restaurants.
The storm is staying strong.

So how much of a work is Duck Dynasty? I've never seen a single episode but to see so many people saying things like "They grew up in the backwoods, of course they're going to say things like that!" And then seeing photos of them looking like normal, yuppie looking folks... It's all a work right? Someone mentioned Larry The Cable Guy and I get the same vibe from these guys.
The reason I ask is because I know people who will criticize me for watching "fake" WWE but think this shit is more legit than MC Hammer.

Won't be eating at Cracker Barrell ever again then. and They're hypocrites. That right there is hypocritical, since it is just Cracker Barrel "standing up for what they believe in" kind of the same thing Phil was doing right? Everyone is entitled to their opinions and beliefs, right?

If their stance has changed, it is not.

My main gripe is with A&E, they have a show full of fundamentalist Christians who adhere to the Bible, what do they think they're opinions on gays would be? If A&E has an issue with fundamentalist Catholicism they should probably just can the show all together, because I'm certain the rest of the family shares the same beliefs, and if A&E finds those beliefs to be reprehensible they probably don't have a need for that show on their station.

That's just the thing, though. They aren't discriminating against them because they're Christian, they're canning this guy for making nasty statements that reflect badly on them. If he didn't make ugly, hurtful statements, his personal beliefs in and of themselves don't disqualify him for employment. Someone else in his family could think being gay is a sin, but if asked, may only say, "God says judgment belongs to him, and Christ told us to look to our own sins before we go meddling in the affairs of others. I wouldn't personally engage in gay sex because I do believe it's not what God wants for me, but I have no judgment regarding anyone's life but my own." But he went in messy on it, talking about bestiality and the relative merits of a vag and an anus, so he got in trouble.

And it turns out that expressing a shitty belief in the media has consequences. Who would have thought?

Cracker Barrel has cracked. They are pulling Duck Dynasty merch from their restaurants. The storm is staying strong. I only know of Cracker Barrel from comedians, but, I've always assumed Duck Dynasty and Cracker Barrel share an identical audience.

I've only known Cracker Barrel brand cheese that is really, really good.
No idea if it has any connection to the restaurant, but I've often been interested in trying the restaurant.

If Cracker Barrel have changed their stance, good on them. I'm more curious to see the brands that are standing by them so I can proceed to avoid them at all costs.
Also, I went into my local Dollar General yesterday and noticed the Duck Dynasty items were 50% off. I laughed.

Request for clarification:
When you say "stand by them", do you mean Cracker Barrel, or Duck Dynasty? You mentioned Cracker Barrel earlier in the post, so I wasn't sure.

Yeah, I should've made that clearer. Sorry. I meant that I'd like to see the brands sticking with Duck Dynasty so I'd know to avoid them.
