I remember on RAW JBL said that he lost to Rey Mysterio that time because he had the sniffles. I've found it strange nobody has ever used this before in a promo. I remember once Eddie Guerrero lied to Chyna and said he was ill to get out of a match(anyone remember?) and came down to the ring wearing a bedspread/duvet coughing etc. It was probably one of the funniest things I've seen from Guerrero so why don't they use it more often?
I also remember announcers making excuses for why Bret dropped his title to The Mountie at a house show. I think they said he had a dangerously high temperature.

Waiting for ADR to use "Affluenza" as an excuse for his poor ring performance and newfound aggression ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

After somebody ends the streak, Undertaker should come out on RAW the next night for a retirement speech. In said retirement speech, he should moan and complain about the flu for five minutes.
One he is finished, Hunter "The King of Kings" Hearst "The Biggest Badass of Them All" Helmsley should come out and say, "You know what Taker? I believe you. I'm pullin' a Benoit and striking your loss from all the records. You never, ever lost to John Cena. See yah next year champ."
Undertaker then promptly fist pumps, lets out an out of character, "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" and does a plancha over the top rope into the crowd. His adoring fans catch him and he crowd surfs off into the sunset.

Wasn't the Bret flu highly exaggerated after the fact because Bret was playing contract hardball before eventually re- signing?

Wasn't the Bret flu highly exaggerated after the fact because Bret was playing contract hardball before eventually re- signing? It was obviously exaggerated, even if there was no contract issues.
