Chavo is okay but this is another sign that TNA is going down the toilet. They desperately need recognizable faces at this point and they don't have a whole lot of them anymore.
Plus their roster is so small that nobody should be getting released. Even Midcarders like Chavo.

The only thing about Chavo's TNA run that I remember was him dropping Eddie's name to get a reaction from the crowd when he and Hernandez won the tag titles. Not gonna miss him one bit.

Well, I'm sure he'll be alright.
Also, I think SOR's turn on TNA is the TNA heel turn of the year. Bar none.

I got the impression when he showed up he expected to atleast be in semi-main event situations, not in a forgettable tag team with Hernandez. He probably realized that he wasn't gonna be any more important to TNA then the WWE so he bailed.

I only wished he had a chance to become a Bo Dallas-esque heel who would constantly refer to his family legacy as the basis for his greatness without ever realizing why he was getting booed.

I hate to see a guy lose income, but he should have never been hired in the first place.

I remember him dropping to on knee, doing that "show me the love" gesture, and getting no response during his entrances.

I know he trashed WWE and Cena when he left, but I see him back in a trainer/agent role within a year. I can believe it. He seemed like one of the guys with a job for life in WWE (thanks to Eddie) until he had his mid-life crisis and quit.

The only real thing I remember was his debut. He walked out to an ok pop. He cut a weak promo, then was owned by Kid Kash, who I had never heard cut a promo before that day.
Everyone knew when he couldn't come back from Kash's comments, that he had nothing.
So he was always going to be shown the door the second his contract was up.

In honor of this sad, heartbreaking moment, let's listen to Dave Oliver's Casio keyboard's greatest creation.
All 20 seconds of Chavo's theme.

I think I know what happened, guys. TNA thought they had signed Chavo Guerrero Sr., and once they realized their mistake, couldn't just fire the guy, so they put him in the midcard with Hernandez until either his contract came up or he got tired of not being used to what he thought he was gonna get.

The thing I remember most is him saying "I'm not saying I'm a wrestling legend, these people are saying I'm a wrestling legend."
