The only thing about Chavo's TNA run that I remember was him dropping Eddie's name to get a reaction from the crowd when he and Hernandez won the tag titles. Not gonna miss him one bit. The thing I remember most is him saying "I'm not saying I'm a wrestling legend, these people are saying I'm a wrestling legend." Wow... TNA really should have given Chavo a delusional heel gimmick where he thinks he's the biggest legend of all time. Chavo does crazy well his WCW work showed that. If Chavo had come in and challenged Sting to an Icon vs. Icon match things might have been different for Chavo.

Chavo is okay but this is another sign that TNA is going down the toilet. They desperately need recognizable faces at this point and they don't have a whole lot of them anymore. Because relying entirely on name recognition worked so well before for tna. Highest buy rate for a TNA Pay Per View ever featured Kurt Angle, a guy with WWE name value and name recognition. Your attempt at sarcasm has failed.

Your attempt at sarcasm has failed. And he was facing Samoa Joe, who didn't have WWE name value. Joe vs Angle sold Lockdown 2008, people wanted to see Joe finally win the title. And this really should have happened years earlier, except they took Joe when he was at his hottest and had him submit clean to Angle, in less than 15 minutes. Just think what the buyrate for their first match would have been had they kept Angle and Joe apart for a few months, and made their first match for the TNA Title. It was a bad booking decision to hotshot the match, have Joe tap clean in such a short amount of time, and not have Joe be the one to end Jarrett's reign, and instead have Sting do it when the fans were begging for Joe to be the one to do it.

The only two times in his career where Chavo was watchable he was being carried in a team by his more charismatic partner.
Eddie Guerrero Pepe the horse
Beyond that, he pretty much sucked.

I thought he was fine for what they had him doing, adding solid depth to the tag-division. Do hope this means we're done with the Hernandez in a hispanic tag-team era. It's been done to death.

Your attempt at sarcasm has failed. Except using your logic, any PPV that featured Kurt Angle in the main event should have duplicated that success. It's like they had more than just name recognition going for that PPV. ![:|](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/plain.png)

Pretty sure Sin Cara's just been freed up. THAT'S RIGHT BABY, ROUND 4 OF TRYING TO GET HERNANDEZ OVER IN A TEAM, LET'S DO THIS!
