That was the crowd reaction. He even paused a bit afterwards. WWE didn't even try to add cheers to that part.

If you look back at the full progression of events, you realize how truly awful this has been:

-Turns heel by turning on Kofi in tag match.
-He beats Kofi on the ppv pre-show and offers a handshake, at which point Kofi slaps him.
-it appears he's going face again, as he's in the Michael Strahan comedy segment.
-Teams with Kofi again and turns on him yet again.
-Is now a face again apparently after Main Event.

This would be bad enough if it happened in like the span of six months to a year. But to have if all happen within a month or so is crazy.

I think they need to bring back the version of the Miz from when he was WWE champion and the Rock first came back to feud with Cena. He had some fantastic segments when he was basically reminding people "hey I'm the f'ing champion here, not Cena. Forget that at your risk". I had never paid much attention to him but there were a number of moments where he played the crowd like a fiddle during that era. He is capable of cutting great promos and they need to make use of that. He seemed at his best when he had a point to prove.

I feel like for a time they were hoping Miz would be this era's Roddy Piper given the way they played him in his MizTV segments.

I've always tried to be on the kinder side with him, but the dude has clearly peaked. He's like the high school jock who who isn't big enough to actually be recruited to schools and f***ed around too much to get in on his own merits.

Miz is way too overexposed for the midcard spot that he's in, he shouldn't be on ME commentary and a featured 'player' on the Pre-Show Roundtable if creative can't even lock down a consistent alignment/gimmick for him to use for a solid month. Kofi on the other hand is kinda badass and I like how he seems to finally be fed up with all the BS he's had to deal with in the WWE to be a successful singles wrestler... unfortunately I can clearly see creative shoehorning this badass Kofi into a second-gen Awesome Truth tag team with Miz to (once again) try to recapture the lightning in a bottle that Miz/Morrison was.
