Maybe it's just my opinion, but I think this confused Miz that flip-flops every week is worse than just stale face Miz that WWE was booking terribly. It's kind of hard to put my finger on it, but there's just something irritating about WWE not wanting to stick with something for the Miz. It's hard to invest in a guy when WWE doesn't even know what he is. With face Miz, I looked at him in a particular light I wouldn't look at heel Miz with. It kind of helps me "judge" him so to speak. Even so, I just feel the flip-flopping is really annoying and WWE needs to just roll with something. Any comments? Go for it in the comments.

I'd like to think that Miz is a face again now that the Kofi feud seems to be over.

Something needs to change here. Miz is at his very worst right now. Bring back lap-dance getting line-botching HOORAH Miz if you must, just...not this Miz.

I think they're trying to make him an arrogant tool with no allignment ala Rob Van Dam in 1999, but they're failing miserably.

I'm getting more and more convinced that, when Kane returned and chokeslammed Miz, they secretly swapped powers.
Pretty soon Miz is going to get fire powers and a mask.

I unironically want this to be a real angle with all my heart. Like Kane eventually realizes what happened when he starts going for high fives and everyone keeps leaving him hanging and he just leaves the authority to go on a one-man suicide mission to take down Devil Miz and get his powers back...only now that he has lost his powers, he's kayfabe weaker and is now the underdog! CAN KANE RECOVER HIS POWERS?

I'm getting more and more convinced that, when Kane returned and chokeslammed Miz, they secretly swapped powers. Pretty soon Miz is going to get fire powers and a mask. Have Miz do it subtly at first, where he starts wearing a leather glove, more red in his attire, and gradually works his way to having a Kane outfit, before the two run into each other in the locker room. "Hey, you look just like-" they both say in unison, until they try to deny it. They both go their separate ways, as Miz is hiding backstage, crouching down holding a Kane mask, and slowly puts it on, as he whispers "The transformation is complete" to himself. Meanwhile, Kane is backstage looking in a mirror, as he pulls a faux hawk wig from his suitcase and tries to put it on. As he's fixing it, he turns to a lamp stand with a picture of Alex Riley, as he rubs it, whispering "Soon, my love" to the picture. They soon realize what's happened, and go to Bray Wyatt to reverse the spell with his lamp and its powers. Wyatt says the two need to be together enough for the spirits to switch back, and Miz and Kane become a tag team. Soon, they learn to like their new bodies and hone their powers. Wyatt then tries to trick them and use their power for himself, until Miz and Kane defeat the Wyatt Family. They soon find Wyatt's lamp and suddenly switch back into their normal selves and decide to part ways forever and never speak again. As the movie is ending, JBL is walking backstage and fins the lamp in a garbage bin. As he's looking at it, he bumps into AJ, and the lamp begins to go, as Miz pops out saying "Uh oh! Here we go again!", which opens up room for a sequel.

I am really confused by this. I don't think anyone has ever flip flopped from show to show like this.

but they're failing miserably. He's not much help. He's been complete trash for a solid year at least. It's like his in-ring ability and quality of his character have an inverse relationship. I find myself kind of liking his work in the ring these days, but on the mic he pretty much sucks now. He hardly ever gets a sentence out cleanly and most of what he says just does not land, he doesn't believe it. Think back a few years ago, he was passable at best in the ring but was one of the best promo guys in the company.

I tuned into Main Event and I saw him helping Santa ... Why him? They really needed a true baby face, not Mr. Flip Flop.

Honestly, I kind of like the Kofi-Miz tweener feud. It's nice to have a rivalry going on that actually feels like two guys who legitimately hate eachother, with no designated face and heel. I think that's something wrestling in general and WWE in particular has been lacking for a while, just give two guys a reason to fight and let the audience decide who to cheer for, you don't always need to engineer an epic story of good vs evil around it.

I'm starting to think Miz' bizarre booking is the direct result of someone backstage not liking him.

All I know is that the segment on Main Event involving him, Santa and Rybaxel was absolutely awful. Legitimately one of the worst segments on a wrestling show this year.
