Im on WWE shop looking for a birthday gift for my nephew. If you go to the kids section of WWE shop, the first 6 items are all Sin Cara items (masks/pants/arm bands). Crazy, give a guy a mask and kids eat it up. shop.wwe.com/Kids/shop-wwe-products-kids,default,sc.html The pants are kind of funny to me. I really want to see a kid walking around in public wearing those Sin Cara pants. |

There is a lot of merch money to be made, yeah.
I am just not sure the wrestler's cut is going to be handled. Presumably, items made before the change, the cut goes to Mistico, and after, to Hunico. Either way, it is probably quite lucrative.

I think it's safer to assume the simplest Sin Cara conspiracy theory is the most true one: that of "Mistico was Triple H's first big signing in his job of talent liaison, and if Sin Cara doesn't become a World Champion eventually that might make Triple H look like he doesn't know what he's doing in talent relations." Really, it makes more sense than the other possibilities, right?

I think they were waiting for Mistico's contract to expire. The last few injuries he had plus Del Rio unfortunately losing all of his heat lead them to make Hunico the star for the Latino market they want so badly. They already saw how he did better under the mask, so now the time finally came up for them to finally do it.

I just wished they'd have shown Hunico regenerating into Sin Cara. Maybe they'll do it with CG in the next Doctor Hunico special.

I don't see any reason not to keep the character going. It isn't like Hunico was a huge success with his previous character. The people who actually ever saw him seemed to love him. Sin Cara was initially popular because he was Mistico and people really like Mistico. It's not confusing. |
