Finally saw the episode.

Honestly don't really know what to think.

It wasn't a horrible episode, but it was far from a cream of the crop one as well.

I guess I'll do my pros and cons for the episode.

Pros:

- The two songs.
- Rarity's crying breakdown
- The secretary's voice(yeah that was oddly something I liked about the episode)
- Rarity learned her lesson on her own.

Cons:

- Good old reliable uncanny valley faces, always there so I have at least one thing to bitch about each episode.
- The trying to catch a taxi scene was dumb as f***(they had Twilight, who has f***ing hax teleportation powers!)
- Rarity using Spike as a pack mule has officially gotten on my nerves now. Stop it Rarity, and especially stop it writers. Spike is a damned hero in the series now, he deserves better than that crap!
- Bitch mode Rarity, just.....ugh.....
- All of the fashion Ponies with talking roles aside from the intern one, shallow twats the lot of them(granted not saying much as it was just two of them).
- I feel the plot was kinda lame this episode.
- I would have liked at least just a throw away line to Applejack returning to the city. Ideally I would have loved seeing the Oranges run into the Mane 6, but still would've settled for AJ at least saying something like, "It's been years since I've been here!"

I'll state my score later. I still don't know what to score it as. True my list of cons is far bigger than pros, but many of my cons are nitpicks or aren't major, major issues.

If they do a spinoff with new characters, I hope Coco is part of it, she could be the Fluttershy of the group.

Just finished watching the episode and.. It deserves all the acclaim it gets. The first "great" episode of the season, in my opinion. Rarity episodes are always nice. Seeing Manehattan basically for the first time was great (also the reference to the Friday the 13th movie was kind of funny). The only problem I have is that Rarity got a little "ungenerous" which I think weakened her a bit in the episode, since she's had, I think, a good amount of time to understand what she represents. None the less, 8/10

I decided on giving it a 7. I think that's a fair score for me. It is too good for anything below a 7, but it was too flawed for a 9 or 10, so it was either a 7 or 8, but the nitpicks pushed it towards the 7.

Pretty sure she has used it without knowing where she was going. Besides we don't know the limits of it. Remember how we all thought at first she needed direct line of sight/be on solid ground to do it? And then the show promptly blew that up by having her teleport in mid air. It is why I called them hax teleportation powers. It pretty much does whatever the writers need it to.
