There's also the possibility of them not knowing exactly where it was, hence needing a cab where the driver would know. Remember, none of them have been to Manehattan sans AJ who only went for a brief period when she was a filly. Didn't Rarity know the address, though? Or did she simply say the building's name? Knowing the name/address doesn't mean she knows how to get there. |

Well, but we also don't know how much of Manehattan AJ did see as a filly. Besides, do you remember every place in a city you were in as a child?
