Didn't he lose it to Aries? Or did he win it back immediately?

Son of a bitch. An Aries reign should have at least elevated it back to it's old stature. Now just Fail Sabin all of the time.

What is this like his 100th reign? The first 100 reigns were just warm up reigns. Now he is serious. I do think Kenny King should still be champ though, with good wins over Sabin and Aries and some promo time, TNA would be in better shape.

Yeah. Unless he is paired with Shelly, he is completely worthless to me. He just has nothing to offer.

The big problem with Sabin right now is that they pulled the Velvet Sky relationship out of hammerspace as soon as they needed something to draw heat onto Sabin. They didn't take any time to establish them as an on-screen pairing during the time they were both babyfaces. They expected every one to already know and care that they are a real life couple and transitioned to this Macho/Liz-like abusive relationship with no buildup.
It's almost like they had no plans for Sabin after his Destination X match with Bully Ray, and came up with this heel turn out of nowhere. I'll actually give Sabin some credit, he's excellent in this Fail Sabin role, but Velvet looks like a putz for putting up with him and Aries is a fool for falling for that slow-motion, transparent distraction finish tonight.

It's like still hasn't recovered from that poorly executed World title run .

It's like still hasn't recovered from that poorly executed World title run . Wasn't that supposed to give him that push into the main-event?

Honestly, I really like Sabin. Not even just the "FAIL SABIN" jokes, I think he's doing a really good job as an obnoxious douchebag heel.

I really like him too. A lot of it is from the huge pile of MCMG good will, but I'd also say he's doing a good job with what he's been given, that unfortunate championship run notwithstanding.
Not sure what the thinking is on the Sabin-Aries hot potato match, though. And I agree it's sad that Kenny King, a very well rounded talent who screwed over his previous employer to take this job, gets left off of television for months at a time.

Just watched the last minutes of it from TNA's YT channel. That was one of the stupidest endings i've ever seen.
Aries is dumber than Cena and Sting combined.

I actually think the douchbag boyfriend is a lot better than Hero Sabin and has a lot of possibilities. The bigger problem is what TNA has done to the X-Division and the X-Division championship.
Instead of this being their main event or at the least, at the top of the 2nd hour, they have it as their 2nd match in the 3rd segment. The match was treated as any old match, it might as well been between Norv and Dewey, because this received no hype, just that incident from last week that led to this match. The X-Division was always the one thing pretty much, through good & bad, that TNA always had over WWE, something they could hang their hat on and be proud of, now the division and the championship have become meaningless. Just more filler for Impact, with the title being passed around with no concern or recognition like an old ring rat. This really all started with Hogan and his cash in the X-Division title to get a shot at the TNA World HEavyweight title, but since he left TNA, the treatment of the division has actually gotten worst.
I'm not even going to mention that dog vomit ending with Aries aring about Vel-BVels safety, only to like kicked in the nuts, then rolled up. Way to have your #2 title change hands.
