Tarec wins his debut bu UD, but Lim apparantly went all-out in the last round (read through Bleacher Report's feed).

Just watched the main event and figured Saffiedine would win but Lim showed that he was one tough bastard.
Though I'm wondering if this fight pass subscription that they were trying to push is a North America only deal???

Honestly if cards like these are supposed to be the incentive to buy the Fight Pass, then the Fight Pass is gonna flop hard

Honestly if cards like these are supposed to be the incentive to buy the Fight Pass, then the Fight Pass is gonna flop hard What from what I heard getting the Fight Pass allows access to all past UFC.Pride.WEC and Strikeforce events. Though oddly enough the main card was broadcasted live on AUS/NZ TV though I couldn't be bothered to stay up to 3am to watch it.

Even then, MMA to me loses a lot of its replay value after the first watch, and though there are probably plenty of moments in UFC history I'd like to go back and watch, 10 dollars a month to do that to me isn't worth it.

Honestly if cards like these are supposed to be the incentive to buy the Fight Pass, then the Fight Pass is gonna flop hard Fight pass cards are pretty much just to get under developed guys real cage time. They are going to be to the UFC what Challenger cards were to Strikeforce. Low card guys, guys that need a win, international unknowns and a reasonable main event.

It's targeting a niche audience for sure but they really don't need too many subscribers for this to work since its in-house and they own all the content. I think it's smart for the them to get something like this out there, it can always evolve. I'm really glad that the WWE finally decided to go this route themselves rather than trying to launch a traditional network. (I say "decided", but of course, lack of interest form providers forced their hand). This is definitely where both companies needed to go, and it's kind of exciting that we're finally here.

This could have a negative effect though if people who have Fight Pass now watching essentially 1 event a week think it's just too much and get burned out on MMA completely.
