I'd have swapped Foley in 2004 (Foley wasn't that much of a shock really) out with the 1st real surprise entrant in Rumble history: Backlund in 2000.....
Still a good list, though. Glad they remembered Show in 2001. And no question they got #1 right.

Yeah number 1 was just such a WTF moment at a time when it is next to impossible to create a WTF moment. Even if you don't like the guy it's tough to argue he doesn't deserve number 1.
As for the rest of the list I can't really say anyone doesn't deserve to be on it. Maybe, I'd put Diesel a bit higher though.

Number 1 was a no brainer, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I hadn't marked out like that in years.
I would have liked to have seen Ricardo be on the list. Nobody expected him to be in it, and he even had the crowd cheering him.
Foley in 2004 was obvious, that being said Orton's reaction was great. The guy does have great facial expressions.

Everyone on the list should be there. That said, it would've been nice to squeeze in Beth Phoenix.

Cena coming back 6 months early was shocking enough, but just that smug, self-satisfied look on his face when he comes out, that just sells it even more.

Quite a few of those were far from surprise, but an ok list

Everyone on the list should be there. That said, it would've been nice to squeeze in Beth Phoenix. That was my thought too but they probably didn't want 2 women on the list and Karma's 1-night return was definitely more shocking considering the circumstances surrounding it. Honestly, in my opinion it should have been higher than it was

The Rumble is the only PPV that matters to me. It's almost impossible for it to be boring.

Funny how Goldust's return in last year's Rumble was the beginnings of him being a better wrestler than ever.

Cena's probably was the most shocking, but nothing will ever top Diesel for me, for sheer mark out purposes. Unless maybe The Bad Guy shows up this year.

The number one thing I took away from that video: "What?!"- Jerry Lawler
Kharma should have been higher in my opinion. Biggest Rumble shock since Cena, which rightfully got number one.

I love how the crowd reacts when Cena's music hits and he stands there, smug look on his face and all.
*Yay! Cena! *Holy shit! It's Cena! Yay!* *Cena? Already back? Awesome!*
10-20 seconds later.
*Ok, enough marking out. Remember, we're smarks, so let's boo Cena while the kiddies cheer. Boo!*

Piper and Snuka had that cool spot in the Rumble where they were back-to-back surprise entrants and everyone stopped to let them fight each other.
This video gets me pumped for Rumble, but also makes me think how WWE dropped the ball with Kharma, and I mean AFTER her miscarriage, as in...she should have done more AFTER the Rumble when she was ready. She SHOULD have been the one to run the Bella Twins out of WWE after they mocked her the year before.

The Kevin Nash return was always a bit awkward to me because he came back as Diesel. Yeah, it was his original WWF gimmick, but it's kind of hard to put the genie back in the lamp when he achieved his greatest fame using his real name.
