So what other teams would you like to see recreated for a special? Zeo? Turbo? Dino Thunder? TimeForce - There is so much they could do here...wanna do a pseudo multiverse thing this is the team you do it with and also see what happens in a Timeforce world where Ransik is no longer #1 criminal and who has taken that throne etc. Ninja Storm - Their Red Ranger is also gone in real life (although celebrating him is not something I would do because well things) they could play off of that in finding a new one and with Hurrcicanger getting a 20th anniversary why not piggy back off of it. SPD - 2025 is coming up so why not tie it all together and having an SPD team from further in the future (One where timeforce is prevelent to the team) and have them come back to make sure SPD comes into exsistence as it is suppose to.

JDF is gone and you'd really only get back Blue and White, Connor and Kira's actors both went on to do bigger things and both grew to dislike the fandom and their parts on the show.

Just watched it. Admit it's not the best special, compared to the others I'd give the second best anniversary episode after Forever Red. I did like that it was just a 50 minute episode of MMPR and it that regard it worked fine.

I really enjoyed it. Got a bit choked up at parts, but I appreciated that really was just one more episode of MMPR. I’ll put it up there with Bill and Ted 3.

It's at least a better anniversary celebration than Megaforce/Super Megaforce.

It's at least a better anniversary celebration than Megaforce/Super Megaforce. It occurred to me that given how wafer-thin Megaforce's 'plots' were, you could easily edit the legendary battle so it occurs directly after several of the Rangers are saved from Rita, that way you could insert numerous other veteran Rangers (and include JDF since he appeared in Megaforce's finales)

I wanna know the explanation for how Aisha is here considering she chose to stay in Africa in a whole different time period and that her remaining there altered the history of her own family.
I know power rangers is real flimsy in keeping tight with its lore especially in recent years but come on.
And also why was the Phantom ranger on earth apparently.
And the Zeo powers the perpetual power machine are active seeing as Tanya was captured....how was it no one just went with using the Zeo powers considering it has been some 20 something years and so those powers said to grow stronger over time should be godlike by now even zordon himself said the Zeo powers are better.
I know don't take any of this seriously but somethings just become too hard to ignore lol.

I just go with what Linkara says about the time-space continuum getting food poisoning/punched in the dick/etc.

Honestly really enjoyed it. A lot of it was nostalgia, sure, but it was just cool to see David Yost and Walter return to have proper send offs. Loved all the little bits of lore spread throughout and how everything we've seen through past Ranger seasons has effected the wider Power Rangers world. Love how the past teams have stayed in contact and it makes total sense when thinking about Ranger team ups throughout the years. Just great stuff. The megazord battle was a bit meh, effects and content wise, but it's a Power Rangers show, we should expect some wince inducing stuff lol.

I'm watching "Once & Always" now, and will have more to say about it later, but for now I just want to say that watching pudgy middle-aged people morph into Power Rangers will never not be hilarious.

Rocky especially makes me laugh. Steve Cardeneas isn't exactly slender these days so seeing the suit transform him into a super-slim athletic dude is hysterical.

Ok, watched the whole thing. It was fine. Nothing amazing that will re-ignite the franchise to its previous heights from thirty years ago, but a perfectly enjoyable for a one hour nostalgia-fueled time killer.
Now things I would've changed -
At the beginning, when Billy's back-up showed up, I would've had it be Zack and Trini and a hodgepodge of like four to six Rangers from different Ranger teams over the years. Just a little tribute to their successor shows while at the same time avoiding the awkwardness of Amy Jo Johnson, Jason David Frank and Austin St. John not actually being involved with the special.
Also in the vein of that awkwardness, I would've had Tommy, Kimberly and Jason already captured by the time Zack and Minh arrive at the cemetery. Just have them and Billy at Trini's gravestone, when one asks "hey, where are the rest of the gang?", when Robo-Rita shows up and makes the reveal.
Speaking of other Ranger teams, was there a reason we couldn't get cameos from them during the Putty attacks? Like, I can understand not wanting to pay the actors to return, but couldn't they put some stuntmen in the costumes? Maybe use some archived audio or even video? Watching them get captured by Minotaur and Slizzard for Rita's time machine would've added a bit more gravitas to the special.
Was kinda hoping the resurrected Lord Zedd would show up at the end to rescue Robo-Rita. I mean, I haven't really followed any Power Rangers series since RPM ended, so I don't know exactly what they're doing with him on Dino/Cosmic Fury, but it would've been nice to see the reunion and have it play out in a future series. Maybe throw Thrax in there too and we can finally get his story straightened out.
The photos they used for Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank during the "In Memory Of" part at the end looked straight out of a high school yearbook. Fitting I guess.

Do we have a release date for her series yet?

One of the original script drafts, according to Catherine Sutherland, would have revealed Tommy and Kat's marriage to be on the rocks due to Trini's death, Simon Bennet admitted a lot of this was cut at the request of David Yost, who didn't personally 'buy' Tommy and Kat would be married (even if it's been official canon for years now)
I actually agree with cutting it. It would have cut far too close to the bone given what Jason David Frank went through in his final days, and if things had gone differently with him, it wouldn't have done him any good at all knowing even his own fictional character couldn't fix his own problems.

That was Kimberly's whole character arc with her parents.

Amusing Power Rangers story from the creator of Babylon 5...suffice to say, he's not a fan.

That variant cover with zombie/corrupted Pink Ranger is kinda badass.
