Yeah yeah, I know John Cena = Superman. But what would that mean in the WWE comic universe? What would other wrestlers be like as comic characters.
Obvious one out of the way first.
Cena would be the near invulnerable boy scout. Much like Superman.
I see the Shield as a government created cyber super group with Reigns as the muscle, Rolins as the super fast and agile one. And Ambrose? He would be the one with lots of guns.
Bray Wyatt would have mind control and his two giant mutated minions one of which is part gator, and the other part ram.

Mick Foley already answered your question.
When is the next issue of that comic, anyway?

It would have slightly worse continuity.

For some reason, the first image in my mind was Randy Orton as Dr. Doom.

HHH selling his marriage to the WWE devil might actually be worth seeing.

There have been a few discussions like this in the past, but I've always felt this:
Hulk Hogan is Earth-2 John Cena. Sting is Earth-3 Cena

Why don't you just read the WWE comicbook?
It's literally the same thing.

Big Bossman was cloned 3 times and became The Shield (they accidentally left Roman under a heatlamp too long).
There's an alternate Earth where all heel/face alignments are switched. Right now, clean-cut heel Daniel Bryan is the face of EWW (Entertainment World Wrestling) and is backed by the evil Teddy Long and Renee Young, while face Randy Orton just joined the heel Cenation (John Cena, Great Khali, and Big E Langston).

Kane is literally Deadpool. A leftover from the 90s when characters like that were big, but they don't know what to do with him anymore because the character doesn't fit in with modern WWE anymore, so they stick him in random tag-teams and stables for comedic effect.

...WWE already IS a comic book universe. Came to post this. Although the WWEverse is slightly less realistic.
