Does anyone else remember this? I don't even think it was broadcast here in the UK, so that's probably why I didn't even know it existed. But I do remember about 5 or so years ago the Syfy channel aired the pilot and tried to pass it off as a Flash movie. From what I read on wiki this series went one season. Not even Mark Hamill as the Trickster could get it picked up for a second.
Judging from the tone of the pilot and intro theme, they tried to make this very Burton/Batman-esque.

sci-fi & sky one both showed it in the early 90s.
I liked it when it was on but doubt it would stand up visually to anything done today.

They did? Man I don't know how I didn't know about this until a few days ago.

I remember liking it, and still like the suit. You can get whole series on did for like ten bucks. I may have to revisit it

Watched it as a kid when it first aired on CBS. Awesome. Towards the end of the season they start involving Flash's rogue's gallery. Trickster, Capt Cold and I belive Mirror Master even though they were all altered from their comic counterparts. It was still better than Smallville.
And theme by Danny Elfman...AGAIN!

I have vague memories of watching this show with my Dad as a kid, but honestly don't think I've seen an episode since the original tv run

I bought the pilot on VHS when I was in college, then found the whole series on DVD a couple years later for under 10 bucks. It's a fun show.

I remember enjoying the three movies as a kid. I remember especially enjoying Flash II: Revenge of the Trickster. I didn't quite understand why the quasi-bondage was so interesting at the time. I enjoyed Prank quite a bit.

Yeah, I got this off of Netflix a couple of years back, it was pretty good. I always had this weird theory that Bart Allen/Impulse on Smallville was the son of Barry and Tina McGee from this series. Ah, Tina McGee, the Chloe Sullivan before there was a Chloe Sullivan.

I really liked it when it came out, wish it had gotten a longer run. Haven't seen it since.

i've got it but i've only watch the first few eps, pretty 90s but its pretty good. Dawsons dad is the Flash
its also kinda funny because it wasnt shown on tv in australian when i was a kid but was released direct to vhs as movies by sticking a few episodes together and calling them a movie and it was marketed very heavily here that way as well i remember going into a local rental place and they had posters everywhere and a trailer looping over and over on display tvs. So a lot of people my age or over remember it from their youth as a film series

I remember renting the first episode on video way back when thinking it was a regular Flash movie. I guess I didn't even know there was a whole series. I do remember enjoying it though.

From what I remember, it had decent ratings and fanbase, but the cost of the costume/special effects was so enormous that the network canceled it anyway. This was one of maybe 3 shows I can remember that my whole family looked forward to every week during its initial run, and I bought the DVD set the day it was released. Great show.

I brought the pilot on VHS a few years ago and I was impressed with how good it since Warner Bros have never treated their non batman/superman shows well. Watched the rest of series on DVD and felt that its a crying shame the show got canned after one season.
Though gotta remember to DVR it since its getting played again on the Tele over the next few months.

The cost of the suit was a big expense, but it didn't get good ratings, mostly because after the first episode or two, it never aired at the same time on the same night. They pinballed it all over the schedule until people gave up.

I think I'll have to buy the DVD set. I remember watching some episodes of it on CBS back in the day, but I got a little into it when I watched reruns of it on Sci-Fi back in 1997. It was a decent show, but I will say this: I learned that I shouldn't watch the Captain Cold episode with the AC on rather low. It made me feel REALLY cold. That was a long time ago, though.
