It's weird. Brock is a genetic freak (despite looking like someone hit Crash Holly with Gamma Rays), and diverticulitis episodes aside, an ice-cold killer who could legit wreck anybody he feels like, whenever he feels like it.
And yet every time we see him, it's goofy facial expressions, bizarre banshee wails, his silly little warm-up dance...
How is it that the man can be the most legitimately frightening, barbaric figure the company has seen in ages, and yet still be such an absolute goober?

I think his goofy facial expressions, bizarre banshee wails and his warm-up dance make him seem crazier and more intimidating.

He can basically liquify your inner organs with his bare fists. As such, Lesnar can come to the ring wearing a frilly pink tutu and a curly blonde wig and still be the scariest, baddest man in all of everything.

Did you notice Brock's expressions during the Heyman promo. He looked like he was fighting a Japanese Wind Demon with his mind.

Now get ready to hate him as he threatens your sexuality in his new persona ... Beautiful Babydoll Brock!"

One touch I absolutely love is when Brock is beating someone so badly that PAUL HEYMAN has to tell him to stop. Heyman is one of the sleaziest wrestling characters in history, and he has to step in out of fear for the other person.
He did that during the Miz and Mark Henry beatdowns, and it was great.

It makes him seem more unhinged, he's like a mutated giant 1950s bully from the 4th grade.
Also, he is the 2nd coming of Sid.

Brock can come out and say any dumbassed thing that comes into his head and it would still be intimidating because that dude is a legit fighter that is built like a tank.

Cuz when they pulled the biggest viking they could find outta the timestream, they didn't bother to teach him modern English vernacular.
Brock did the best he could to assimilate the lexicon, then just said "f*** it, I'm a berzerker."
Or, to paraphrase what Richard Pryor said bout Leon Spinks: "Leon ain't gotta be smart, he just has to knock motherf***ers out."

The Vince one too. He looked like he was having a panic attack when Brock F5'd him. Indeed, however there have been moments (like last night when he jumped up to distract Big Show) when he goes back to being a dick a littletoo quickly after those moments. Kinda makes further moments of geniune concern looks fake...... ......but then, Heyman really is good at it.

I don't think it's concern for the other person, but more worry that Brock will take it too far and wind up in jail or banned from WWE and then Paul loses his client.

I always saw it as Heyman adding insult to injury by having to "call off" Brock basically he's saying no one else will dare try to stop Brock because their all scared.

NFL understandably hushed up them parting ways with him after he'd killed a couple of other practice squad members with a battle axe.
