I mention this in most threads to this effect, but Eragon is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen in theaters. It is just so cliche and incompetent, and it makes me laugh every time. And while not a bad movie, just a bit of a cheesy one, I laughed hysterically during parts of Hunger Games. Without spoiling anything, it when things would happen with the lead girl, one of the lead guys, and it'd just cut to the other lead man watching uncomfortably. It was just so cruel and petty, it made me laugh uproariously. I took to calling Gale Friend-zone Fred by the end of Catching Fire. he has like... every single stereotype about a "friend-zone whiner". as for Eragon, I remeber me and a friend went to it and couldn't get over how it was basically an incompetent high fantasy ripoff of Star Wars.

He even lives with his uncle, which made the Uncle Owen comparison jokes even easier.

Sounds about like what happened in the theaters I went to. When Saphira is bleeding, someone stated within earshot of me "Is that radiator fluid?" I went to see the film 3 times, actually, in theaters, since I got both my brothers and my girlfriend at the time to watch it with me. They had a blast.

For me this begins and ends with "That's My Boy" So much stupidity, and it seems that Sandler and company were aware of that. But how they dished it out was hilarious with cameos of Vanilla Ice, Tony Orlando and Todd Bridges, also THAT ENDING That movie is pure trailer trash and unapologetic. Which makes it amazing. Plus that twist ending was brilliant. Like nobody saw it coming.

I watched the Red Dawn remake on Netflix last night and while I was watching it, I kept thinking how horrible it was. The acting and dialogue was cheesy. Some of the special effects were not done well at all. Yet when it was over, I sort of enjoyed it. I shouldn't have because it wasn't good but I can't explain it. I didn't hate it despite knowing I should.
