The last few hours have been an absolute nightmare for my family today. Today a family friend suffered a miscarriage and had to be rushed to the hospital. When they were running tests, they saw that she had a high white blood cell count and are fearing that she may also have leukemia. As if that wasn't bad enough, I learned a few minutes ago from my mom that my aunt is going to have tests done on Monday to see if she has liver cancer.
I really can't put into words how devastated my family is feeling right now without crying. Please put them in your thoughts and prayers tonight.

My thoughts are with you, your family, and your friend. Hope you guys make it through unscathed.

So a little upset: Some tests have been done and yes, my friend does have leukemia. The only upside of this is that it may be in the very early stages, thus making this very treatable without any chemo needed.
Thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers. We're all hoping for this to have a happy ending.

Yeah, hopefully they caught it early. I am very sorry you all have to go through this, but I am glad that you are all going to be there for each other.

The best weapon against cancer right now is early detection. If they caught it in a super-early stage, then your friend is very fortunate. While I can't begin to imagine the trauma of experiencing a miscarriage, it might've been a blessing in disguise if the leukemia is in the real early stages.

My aunt was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer, but luckily they caught it early, too. Just gotta stay positive.
