RAW is live this week from Providence, RI, where we're one week away from the return of the Animal Big Dave Batista, whilst also being the first night of weekly RAW hype for the WWE Network. If you thought their plugging of Tout and the WWE App was over the top, then prepare for new levels of intensive advertising!
Whether or not the WWE Network gets more plugs than the Royal Rumble remains to be seen, but regardless, we're 13 days away from the big night in Pittsburgh. We know that Batista will be in the 30 Man Over the Top Rope Royal Rumble Match, and so will Alberto Del Rio, as the two men have exchanged words on Twitter, some of which have hit a little too close to home. Will Del Rio get another dig in tonight, and who else will declare their entry?
Randy Orton and John Cena continue their road towards their WWE World Heavyweight Title rematch at the Rumble. They had a confrontation last week at Old School RAW after Orton threatened Ric Flair (in addition to many Carolina Panthers fans). Will anything exciting happen this week, like maybe mean eyes at each other?![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
Brock Lesnar broke Mark Henry's elbow last week in his Kimura Lock, and then The Big Show came out to get him some. Show and Lesnar will meet at the Rumble, eleven years after their previous battles that included a superplex that broke the ring on SmackDown. If Paul Heyman gets his client the WWE World Heavyweight Title match that he wants, then a win over Big Show is a must. Will Brock be in attendance tonight?
One match is confirmed for tonight's show, as The Usos will take on the newest combination of the Wyatt Family - Bray Wyatt and new family member Daniel Bryan. Bryan was looking to show Luke Harper and Erick Rowan the way, but Wyatt denied him that opportunity, and will instead handle matters himself. Is Bryan fully into the family mentality, or does he have a trick up his sleeve... or sleeveless worksuit as it turns out? And will the Usos throw a spanner in the works?
All this, and Dean Ambrose being relieved that a snake isn't peeing on him this week, tonight from 8/7c!
