I'm actually going to give this episode an 8. It was nice to see the Wonderbolts again (and Soarin even had a few lines!), and I don't feel like Dash was being a jerk JUST to be a jerk. Plus, the return of the Element Shine means that it wasn't just some one-off thing for Rarity Takes Manehattan, but might be part of the Tree of Harmony story. That does not really change the fact that Bulk Bicep's... flying "skills" have made me wonder more than ever how the hell he ever got into the Wonderbolt Academy, and if Derpy was a logical replacement, why didn't they go with her from the start?
Hell, even Twilight would have been better! This is definitely one of those episodes that makes me think it was written before Twilicorn came down the pipe line.
