Fox 8 (the channel that airs WWE programming in Australia) announced during today's broadcast of RAW that from February 4th RAW will be aired live (midday on Tuesdays). RAW will also remain at it's standard time slot of 2.30pm Wednesdays, but now the option is there for those that want to watch RAW as it happens and not have to wait 26 hours.
So expect a lot more talk about Vegemite and Yahoo Serious and discussions about what is and isn't a knife in the RAW thread.

I thought they were going to travel to Australia and broadcast a live Raw from there One day.... i live in hope. Haven't been to a house show since 1986 ( Cpl Kirchener vs Nickolai Volkoff main event ) and i REFUSE to go again until it's a RAW or SMACKDOWN filmed here. It's weird because 10 years ago we used to get RAW tuesday nights ( about 8 hrs after airing in the states ) then they moved it to wednesday afternoon ( about 28 hours late - OMFG SPOILERZZZ ) Yet we've ALWAYS gotten Smackdown BEFORE America |

That's good for them. What time is whatever time Raw is, over there? Currently 4.45pm wednesday arvo on Australia's east coast , just saw the Divas match on RAW Airing FOX8 on FOXTEL ( cable ) RAW 2.30pm Wednesdays NXT 2.30pm Thursdays MAIN EVENT 3.30pm Thursdays SMACKDOWN - 3.30pm Fridays PPV's - Usually Midday Mondays Crazy considering 20 years ago we'd get PPV's on Free-to-air tv about 12 hours after they aired |

Kinda irrelevant for me as I haven't had cable since early 2011 and since (or before) then I watched live streams plus I rarely watch anymore but it's great news anyway. People can avoid spoilers, watch without streaming (and the hassles of them always being pulled down) and enjoy the live experience. Maybe we should thank the Emmalution.  |
