Aaron Eckhart stated in an interview while doing press for this movie that he is a method actor.
I'm not sure how many terrible movies he watched to prepare him for this one, but it was obviously too many...or not enough.

As an English teacher it greatly irritates me that they are calling him Frankenstein... He's the monster! Not the doctor!![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v612/whosyerdanny/kryten.jpg) "It's a common misconception held by all truly stupid people!"

All I know about this film is they made Aaron Eckhart look a lot like the lead singer from Motionless in White. ![](http://www.liveforfilms.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/xaaron-eckhart-in-i-frankenstein.jpg.pagespeed.ic_.2iWZJCUrhG.jpg) ![](https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/378800000283295326/cb66002f4d463eed5f6b0796b9e168a2.jpeg) That guy's eyebrows are hilarious. "Calm down Uncle Leo."

I caught part of his interview on Arsenio last night. I just kept thinking "What's the f***ing point?" It's like if they remade A Christmas Story and set it during Halloween

Wasn't Dr. Frankenstein's great fear that the monster he created would ultimately become synonymous with him? If so, popular culture referring to the monster as "Frankenstein" enforces the point of the story.

As an English teacher it greatly irritates me that they are calling him Frankenstein... He's the monster! Not the doctor!I'll probably get crap for this, but after nearly a century of popular culture calling the Monster "Frankenstein", I would argue that the Monster's name now actually is "Frankenstein".

I know it is only 9 reviewers at this point, but 0% really should say how terrible this film is no matter what. Considering that I'm unfamilair with all but one of the critics that have reviews on its Rotten Tomatoes page, the percentage says nothing. There's no point in trusting a review if you have no knowledge of the critic.

Ultimately you've gotta judge something for yourself anyway. My best friend always gets into this "so and so reviewer said such and such so I don't know if it'll be any good." Even if it's a reviewer you've agree with the majority of the time, there's always gonna be a film or two you're gonna like that Critic X doesn't. Ultimately, art is judged by each individual.

Now it has dropped down to 3% And the only review counted as positive is actually a false positive in my opinion. If you look at this positive review, he gave it a 2/5-Poor.

I remember when I initially watched the trailer and told my fiancee, "There's no way that's going to be a good movie."
That was the safest prediction I've ever made.

I, Frankenstein, have gained an average of 3% on Rotten Tomatoes. It's better than nothing...The Doc's gonna be disappointed...

I don't understand why he's Frankenstein's monster. The trailers seem to be a weird side plot from the Underworld series, yet nothing looks like it has anything to do with Frankenstein.

"Battle: Los Angeles" threw dirt on the idea that Aaron Eckhart is a leading man. "I, Frankenstein" is just pissing on the grave.

This is what they've got to do.
A movie where the Wolfman, Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Mummy team up to fight modern day crime syndicates and terrorist groups.
Like a cross between LXG and the Expendables, with a comedy vibe to it, since all four monsters will be highly articulate and meta-aware.

As an English teacher it greatly irritates me that they are calling him Frankenstein... He's the monster! Not the doctor! To be fair, if you think of him as the doctor's son, you could assume his name to also be Frankenstein.
