Hi guys, Have any of you guys ever seen this television show "Drawn Together?" It's super hilarious and a spin off of big brother. If you have seen it, what are your thoughts on the show? If you have not seen it you should and then tell me the thoughts you have about the show. Thanks, Mrs. Marie

I loved all of the characters, especially Captain Hero, Foxxy, and Wooldoor.
Also I marked huge for the Disney ripoff "A Black Chick's Tongue" song.

Eh, wasn't a fan. I liked the character designs and concept, and Wooldor and Xandir were kinda likable, but the humor for me felt like it was desperately trying to be offensive for the sake of it. At least when Family Guy does an offensive bit, there's an actual punchline to it rather than just throwing out something crass and expecting a laugh the way DT did. Plus the pig and the chick in the orange bugged me half the time.

^ Now that is awesome, so glad you found that and posted it. Brings back so many memories of that show. I wish they continued the series on, but that's television for you, cancel the good shit.

First season was ok. Second season was good. Third season was meh. My favourite episode was "Lemon-AIDS Stand".

Loved that show. Foxy and Toot were my favorite characters ever. The biggest draw for me was that you had Cree Summer and Tara Strong, who spent years voicing characters for kids show, finally allowed to cut loose and be as raunchy as they wanted to be.

Plus the pig and the chick in the orange bugged me half the time. These are pretty much my thoughts as well. I liked the characters (wasn't a fan of Spanky or Wooldor though), and I liked the concept, but the overuse of shock-humor just for the sake of shock-humor turned me off from it more often than not. There were some episodes I liked, my favorite was probably the role-playing episode with Xandir's parents.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised to hear THOSE voices swearing and making sex jokes and whatnot.

I used to watch this when I was younger. Keep in mind that I'm 16 now. It was quite the experience watching such a show around ten years of age.

Mixed bag, sometimes it had me rolling, sometimes I found it too gross. Overall, if I was flipping channels and saw a re-run on Comedy Central, I'd watch it.

I like it more than dislike it. I do think some of the jokes could miss, for sure, but when the show was funny, it was really funny.

Loved it. Seasons were too short. It was shock for the sake of shock. But it became the show's calling card. The movie was ok. Not as good as the show

To be honest, I thought it was one of those shows that tried a little bit to hard to be shocking and offensive. Now I'll admit I did enjoy some bits here and there and it could be funny at times, however I felt most of the time it was just trying to hard to get that "OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY JUST SAID/DID THAT" reaction. "LOL Look we just insulted Black/Jewish/Gay People! etc" ... Yeah so have a lot of other shows (I just mentioned this in another thread actually 0.o) Like with Foxxy Love, it seemed the only jokes they could ever do about her was the fact that she was black, alright afew times fair enough but after ahwhile it gets old, move on. So yeah, It wasn't a terrible show but it certainly isn't an all time favourite for me. I'll stick with South Park for my dose of offensive humour

Funny, but as has been said many times it felt like they were one step short of holding up a big sign during jokes that said: "LOOK HOW OFFENSIVE WE'RE BEING!"

The first season was great, but the ridiculous gap between it and the second plus the way they felt the need to try to out-offensive South Park rather than just sticking to the reality show humor, plus how it just became the Captain Hero show and the ensemble basically stopped remotely mattering, killed it.

I remember not liking it during the first season. It had it's moments but it felt like it was trying to be as raunchy as possible just for the sake of doing it. Season 2 they tone down the raunchiness a bit and focused on being a funny ass show and it was amazing. 3rd season feels like it was rushed and they had to really push to get something out of the show.
Overall if you have not seen it, it's one of the better animated shows comedy central has ran. You have to have a special flavor for its dirty style and it's not for everyone.

not a fan. it was one of those shows that thought that it could get away with being vulgar regardless of whether or not it was actually funny.
