Really looking forward to this year's Grammys. As I said in a thread a while back, I feel 2013 was the best year in Pop music ever, so I'm looking forward to the performances and to see who wins.
Can't wait!

I'll be the first to say "meh" and get that out of the way.
I really don't think I'll tune in at all, except if I happen to be on facebook and one of my friends keeps a commentary going informing me of when Paul & Ringo are on. I might request that someone does that

I'm in it for Daft Punk, Stevie Wonder (one of the greatest and somewhat underrated songwriters of all time), Kendrick, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Metallica, Macklemore/Madonna, P!nk, Queens Of The Stone Age and Robin Thicke (he has other, way better songs in his catalog than Blurred Lines, and he's effing hilarious on Real Husbands of Hollywood so I can't hate on him). Plus LL's always a decent host.

Tonight, I'm going to be attending the official New York Grammys viewing party for the first time. Really excited for it. Might even top my first time watching the show 15 years ago with my Dad eating Pizza Rolls. And that's not me being sarcastic, they were really good pizza rolls. I got love for Macklemore, but have you heard the Kendrick Lamar album?

OK, so Macklemore/Lewis/Madonna thing is them marry a bunch of gay/bi/lesbian couples on the stage with Queen Latifah commencing the ceremony.
I'm not even gay/bi and this feels odd.

I don't care about the marrying or anything, but couldn't Macklemore do that without Madonna? Or at least with GaGa? I really, really dislike Madonna.

I love Madonna though and she isn't need to do this. Madonna at most is bicurious and we know Gaga floats both ways. I would have picked someone who we know for sure is apart of the LGBTQIA comm.

I mean, on one hand Madonna is something of a gay icon, embraced the community earlier than most and is one of the last true music-based mega-celebrities. On the other hand, she's the woman who made "American Life," one of the worst lead singles in the history of pop music.

I got love for Macklemore, but have you heard the Kendrick Lamar album? Yes and admittedly all songs are perfect with one exception in Compton, but that is just personal opinion. To me though, While Good Kid told a cohesive story and was more hypnotic in everything, I have to say I had Macklemore on repeat for quite a while so I will admit I'm a bit biased. Not taking away from Lamar mind you just more love for Macklemore

Heh, Black Sabbath just said they're nominated for a disco award. (Too bad they're going to lose to Simpsons Christmas Boogie.) Also, Birdman took Paris Hilton to the Grammys. I'm hoping for more random matchups like this.

It's a pretty solid lineup, but I wish Timberlake and Gaga were on the card. That would've sent it over the top.

I just feel it would be better if was someone else who is truly apart of the community. I'll be the first to say Madonna at times seems to use the community to her advantage.
