Boy, could you imagine if AJ decided to pull a Lawlwer and quit as well to support him? If AJ does quit, she'll be dumber than I thought.

Evidently, CM Punk's segment was supposed to run sometime between that Del Rio/Kofi match. I'm glad he's gone then, but he should've waited until after Raw.

What momentum? They basically killed his momentum by having him win the Rumble. He's supposed to be the conquering hero, yet people are and will continue to boo him. They either put Bryan in the main event, or they risk Goldberg/Lesnar type backlash at Wrestlemania. Yeah and now you just paid a ton of money for Batista to do absolutely nothing He signed a two year contract, you could have easily had him work a high profile match at WrestleMania, and maybe win the Championship around Summerslam or even next years WrestleMania. You didn't need to shoehorn him into a main event storyline. They paid a lot of money to The Rock and Brock and The Rock didn't become Champion until his third year back. Brock still hasn't had a run with the belt. They could easily have had Batista be involved in the Authority storyline, where he would be Vince's guy against Randy Orton for control of the company. Or he could face Sheamus, or Bray Wyatt. Or anyone else. 2014 SHOULD be Daniel Bryan's time. He's the most over on the roster and he's earned it. Batista left for four years and did nothing of note. He was hardly missed and came back and was handed everything on a silver platter. He's not a star the caliber of The Rock, or even Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar's a heel, and he still draws as a special attraction.

I can imagine that a few people have asked him about Punk. Although he did get one good question so far:

Lesnar's a heel, and he still draws as a special attraction. They won't turn him heel. He's supposed to be their conquering hero to go against the Authority and finally end Orton's "reign of boredom." Besides, he has a movie coming out in a few months, there no way their have Batista promoting the movie as a heel.

Look at what happened to RVD, Rock, and Brock a few months after they came back. They all just became "part of the show" essentially and while Brock and Rock did draw a little better than normal, it definitely wasn't as big as it was at first. WWE clearly wants to get as much out of Batista now before that happens to him too so I can't blame them.

We have a new contender for CM Punk's replacement! Bet torpedoing Ryback's momentum to put over Punk doesn't look so smart for WWE anymore, huh?

I understand where your coming from, I just don't see anything that warrants him getting a main event push right off the bat.

Three weeks after I decide to take a break from watching WWE my second least-favourite wrestler ever just leaves.
Should I stay away in case I jinx this? I'm gonna keep away.

I do kinda wonder. A few years ago, I had thought they were doing the "backstage/RL news is the new kayfabe" thing, but it wasn't what I thought. I keep thinking they're going to do that eventually, though, and this could certainly be part of something like that.

Some people still think Foley refusing to work with him was a shoot.

The arena will be full of CM Punk chants. I think they'll go with "Punk was injured on the chokeslam through the table and is out indefinitely".
