not to be THAT guy, but.
this is going to become a huge story. i mean, it is already. but this is huge. much like the daniel bryan uproar has been such a huge story. i know the idea of "work" has been used to death, but... punk & bryan are creating a massive amount of buzz right now. coincidentally right as wwe is launching their network, as we're on the road to wrestlemania, and as the part-timers are coming right back in to sweep up the moments and paydays that guys like punk & bryan have been working all year for. you want an angle that could shake things up on a grand scale (think summer of punk '11, but full force and with bryan's story tied in to make it an even bigger situation), everything is lining up perfectly. almost too perfect.
punk walks out, gets his extended break that he wants. takes off half-a-year, returns at the pay-per-view in chicago (in july or something, right?), and if he's truly considering retirement sooner than later, use his remaining time to make a drastic change in the company (alongside bryan), culminate with punk finally getting his wrestlemania main event next year.
but i'm probably just trying to avoid thinking that my favorite wrestler of all-time has actually left the company. this really sucks if it's legit.

To be honest, how demoralizing must it be for guys like Punk and really everyone on the roster? You work your ass off the entire year just hoping you can get on the Mania card, Punk gets to a point where he looks to finally cross off his final two goals(win the rumble and main event Mania) both of those things are off the table because a guy who hasn't wrestled in four years returns... That sucks.

But seriously...who would have thought things would be THIS disappointing after Summerslam.
I mean, shit...I had my massive doubts, but it's as if WWE decided to go for overkill in terms of destroying ANY interest I can have.

The truth is that he left for a girl, not AJ though, but a very special lady......
DAMMIT PUNK!!! You have to stop fraternizing with co-workers or you'll lose this job too!

I knew things would level off, but I didn't think they would take a HOAK HOGAN level nosedive. Can someone else please assume the f***ing controls?

I didn't even like Punk's current run, but damn.
If he is really out, it's a major blow.
