What's CM Brooks doing in the Impact Zone!? Oh trust me. CM Punk is not going anywhere near that sinking ship either.

As much as I like him, if he is burned out and not enjoying it, then good for him. If he is financially in a situation where he doesn't need to work I can't see him going anywhere else. He could try acting, I best he would be better than most of the other wrestlers who go to Hollywood because he won't be typecast as a meathead.

This makes me think, too. Will this jeopardize Punk's lock for the HoF? I really doubt it. Even if this ends his in ring WWe career cooler heads will prevail and they'll work together again.

Who would of thought after the feel good story of CM Punk winning the title at Summerslam and having this big DVD about him overcoming so much and loving the WWE again and its new direction....to him walking out a couple years later.

AJ needs to dump Punk ASAP or she will be getting Trish barking levels of burying.

When Austin left, fans sided with the WWE. I just don't think that will happen this time. Fans are furious at the product. If anything, people will chant "CM Punk" for a few weeks Well Payback sure as hell just got a lot more interesting.

Punk might be gone, Bryan went from beating Cena clean and looking like he was going to vanquish The Authority and win the title at Mania to that going to Batista, at least Bryan will face Triple H, and Cena went from main eventing back to back Manias against The Rock (2 highest grossing Manias of all time), to what looks like a Mania program with Bray Wyatt (I like Bray, but that is a huge step down). At least there's still The Shield being booked perfectly. I don't give a shit about a Triple H match, even if Bryan destroys him. Triple H is an old worn out act. He's in a position of power and I haven't given a SHIT about the guy since 2006. It doesn't help that they won't knock it off with this horseshit badass ego stuff. I can only imagine the build to Mania being the same shit we've heard Trips say a thousand other times. Oh...and he'll get the verbal BJ from his opponent though. As a fan, I don't want a consultation prize...I want what I've been asking for for MONTHS. Not later. Now. I don't give a shit about Batista. I don't give a shit about the New Age Outlaws. I don't give a shit about Hogan, Piper or the McMahons. I don't give a shit about Sting. They all had their f***ing time. If you want me to mark for them, put them in the HOF or give them a DVD. Quit with the tired bullshit. Do something new. Do something fresh. Try something different. How hard is that the understand? They booked a MESS. The booked a mess because they were too insistent on their own ideology and ignorance. And as a result of that, I hope their PPV numbers and Network numbers plummet, because they deserve to. As far as the Shield is concerned, I don't expect that to last either. WWE is about as subtle as ground zero of a construction site that a split is imminent. We all know that Reigns will get that wonderful push to the moon that we've all seen before, that is the most manufactured unnatural thing ever, that 3 months after he wins the title, the fans turn on it. I've seen it too many times to really be bothered to care.

His last 2 tweets speak volumes to the legitimacy of this.
Hey, he could be going to MMA. Thats what all the cool cats are doing. TBH though he doesn't strike me as someone who can legit be a real fighter.

CM Punk is the mystery investor for TNA. The real reason the Russo rumors came up is because they wanted to swerve the fans into thinking it was Russo, when really, Russo is going to come out and Punk is going to GTS him and reveal himself as the real investor. The whole angle is dropped in a week when it's revealed that it was a double-swerve and it actually was Russo all along.

This makes me think, too. Will this jeopardize Punk's lock for the HoF? I think he's going to be Ultimate Warrior status for quite a while. Ditching Vince two months before Wrestlemania is probably not going to put you in his good graces.

Assuming its true, it's incredibly classless of Punk. WWE insists guy wrap up their Indy dates before joining simply because it's bad for fans if guys pull out at the last minute and bad for the indys. But Punk won't extend that same courtesy to WWE fans?
He could have said to Vince to take him off house shows and write him out at Wrestlemania. Not difficult to do as could do the HBK angle all over again. That would have been better for everyone than this.
I love Punk in the ring but I would hate to meet him outside just because he's capable of things like this. WWE will do the only thing they can do now, which is to place Punk on the everlasting s**tlist alongside Benoit and Jeff Jarrett because he's screwed the company and screwed the fans. Even Lesnar had the decency to give a bit of notice he was walking out.
There may come a day where Punk is down on his luck with not a dime coming in as WWE rewrite history to ensure he doesn't get a penny and his hall of fame ticket has been ripped up and thrown away. That day he'll call that idiot daughter and doofus son in law and they'll tell him where to stick his reconciliation. And it'll have been deserved.
Tl;dr - love punk, but he can go suck a bag of d***s for this.

As someone who gave up on WWE on Sunday, the backstage rumors and gossip are now my primary source for wrestling entertainment.
So yes, I'm f***ing loving this.

The ironic thing is, if Punk has some big comeback in two years, he'll be the guy getting the part-timer superpush that he can't stand now.

I wonder where this leaves Sheamus, if they go ahead with Bryan / Triple H. Facing Kane? They should honestly probably try and make it a triple threat title match and come up with a way to make Sheamus a suitable replacement for Punk in the Triple H angle.
